This meta SUCKS

AD's are strong as shit right now in fact the meta is centered around them. We have peel supports, CC tank top laners, Tank junglers (now that sated devourer and all that who use it are getting nerfed), and mid laners may be the only exception but now that tanks are very strong,i can see assassins falling out of meta in the mid lane as well (this is because double or triple tank comps destroy assassins). With assassins gone the boards will have nothing to complain about anymore though...

but for real, this skilless meta sucks. I mean honestly i would rather see shit like renekton, riven, jayce, wukong, rumble and jax in the top lane over malphite, nautilus, and rammus. League may not be the hardest game in the world to play but this meta is boring and skilless. Malphite just farms until mid-late game where he presses 1 button and solo wins teamfights. Naut vs anything just turns into a farm lane because its impossible to solo kill this guy. Fiora and darius seem strong because they are the only ones who can actually kill these behemoths. Fiora can lose in bruiser fights which is more of a skill matchup, but more often then naught, people go tank top lane.

if im mid lane I can guarantee im either against a zed or a fizz lol

Also, if you're against someone like naut top, just pick darius. You can get nearly as tanky as him but no way in hell can he stand toe-to-toe with you and fight you for an extended amount of time

love all that armor penetration he gets for free from his e, plus that bullshit passive and can't forget the heal now can we

darius tends to crush other top lane tanks, while he doesn't have the utility a lot of them bring he has ass loads more damage than most of them in extended fights.

The only reason I hesitate to pick him sometimes is because he can just be countered so easily. You pick darius - the enemy top laner grabs jayce or quinn, you spend most of laning phase crying under tower begging your jungler for a gank or getting zoned off of farm.

i did say fiora and darius are picked against tank top laners...

In plat, zed and fizz feed. they play aggro and the jungler just shits on them for playing to aggro. As a jungler myself these are actually my favorite mid laners to camp because they are the easiest to deal with because they are so dumb. both play stupidly aggresive making it easy to destory them the second they go in

Also i dont want to come off as an asshole, but meta does not really apply that well to silver and bronze because no matter what you pick you will be sucessful in those elos as long as you are good at the champion.

nah I totally get it, you're right. I've heard if you have enough general game knowledge you can carry with adc crittlesticks.

Maybe you're right and there's a way to consistently beat fizz with anivia in silver 2, but god damn if there is I haven't found it yet. I hate that fucking fish >.<

but yeah i am still relatively new to the game despite how many champion points I have (i play way too often :P) and hopefully I'll get to that point someday.

If you've got tips for fighting fizz with anivia I'd gladly hear them ^.^ I hate the god damn matchup, most I can usually hope for is trying to bait him into diving me, committing everything, turning me into an egg, and then screaming as my jungler tears him a new asshole and I get away scot free cuz rebirth.

you're level 14, how could you know the playstyle/strength of people in different elos? Are you on a smurf?

yea this is just a smurf, zed and fizz play really aggro post 6 so just get your jungler to camp them (i guess this is easier said then done). Anivia is actually harder to deal with then they are because she has CC, slows, her wall, and she has her egg so the enemy jungler has time to save her. she is much more frustrating to deal with.

for fighting fizz, just punish him at levels one and two very hard. dont even let him near the minions. use up his potions before he reaches lvl 4 where he actually has trading power. by the time he reaches level 4 he will have no pots and will be to low to want to trade with you. take barrier and rush abyssal. use mana sparingly because now you dont have alot of sustain unless your jungler is generous and gives you blue buff. Fizz can be beat, its just not an easy thing to do, its like when playing against leblanc. you are not really supposed to win this lane, but if you survive and do not feed them kills you will be a hell of a lot more useful then they will be in late game teamfights

The thing with anivia is, ESPECIALLY pre-6, all of her damage relies on her hitting her stun. That's everything. If you miss that, you're fucked for 8-10 seconds. Makes trying to trade with him, even relatively early, kind of a scary thing.

A lot of this comes from lack of experience on my part - I've never actually played fizz, so I don't have a super good grasp of what his cooldowns are or anything like that. Makes trading with him pretty scary cause I know he pumps out assloads of damage, so basically I just try not to most of the time xD

nah tanks are still kings. unless ur playing a challenger lvl vayne/kog then tanks will always carry the team. adcs are too squishy. simply blowing on them will be enough to take them out of a fight. they need have there hand held by tanks and supports the entire game in order to do damage. its pretty flawed. this is assuming everyone is on a equal playing field and u dont have a 20/0 corki/lucian or some shit.

tanks counter assassins very hard making them honestly not very effective. i would much rather have a lulu, lux, or oriana in the mid lane over zed talon and fizz personally especially if the enemy team has 2 or more tanks

are you assuming the tanks will be able to get to vayne through naut and janna? or anyone with peel? that is why this is an ADC meta and not a tank meta. Tanks are very strong right now, but i would consider this a ADC meta.

As a Mage player, i agree this meta sucks. Tanks were made powerful enough to tank ADCs, assassins were made bursty enough to kill ADCs, and ADCs were given enough damage to put up a fight against tanks and assassins.

You know what got completely fucked over? Mages. Assassins can kill them, tanks easily tank them, and ADCs easily (like literally > 0% crit) outscale them.
