Your opinion on Brand and his current state in the game.

My favorite champion (next to Lissandra), I was wondering what the community thought about Brand and where he sits in the game.

I think he has potential but not nearly as strong as some of the other mid laners. Easy to dodge Q, but if you do land the combos you instantly win.

He's really light on CC, but his %max hp passive and massive AOE damage [sort of] make up for it.

HIs passive means he'll always be relevant (and probably always viable), but he's outshined by so many other mages. Zero mobility, only one stun (that's extremely easy to dodge), RNG-based ultimate, main damage skill (W) is fairly easy to dodge, has to do really predictable combos to maximize his gameplay, etc...

ha, fire and ice. anyways, Brand probably sits on the lower end of the spectrum since his burst is meh, his damage over time is meh, lacks mobility and is still super squish. sure get fed he is a beast but until then its like he requires a jungler to babysit him until he can do enough damage to kill those people that are diving onto him fast enough.

Dangerous to fight, but lack of high utility (he brings tons of damage though) puts him on the back burner. Still, a great solo queue hero to use.

I play him support sometimes and so far I'm 3-0 in ranked games in Plat 5 with him. You just need to ask your adc to rush lvl 2. Take ignite. W Q ignite, sometimes u get a kill even if the adc heals and flashes to late.

Ive noticed his team fight is pretty strong with his ult, his ability to peel is lackluster but it is possible if you're good at skill shots, and he can catch people out but you have to usually flash for it or them facecheck something

His support is really lackluster, no idea why people prefer him there. He is a beast in mid, but only if you land your combos correctly..

I'm not an experienced , so take this with a grain of salt, but I think he's pretty well-balanced and healthy overall. He has strong burst, his fighting pattern's clear and interactive, his combos are pretty sweet and he has a strong niche as a waveclear/AoE mage. My only complaint is that some parts of his kit aren't as interesting as they could be (his passive, which is sort of misplaced, and his E, namely), but his core gameplay is still really good.
