@ Riot Galetta, when did that skin become an idea? I remember making a post a few months back to create Elder Fire Brand, pretty much the exact same skin you are releasing. I talked about the purple ancient flames and everything. Cool idea but I gotta ask if a Rioter saw it?!

I can't recall seeing your post, but I can tell you our inspiration for the skin. Our idea for this skin was a demon possessed Brand that summons demons and soul fire, a demonmancer for lack of a better word.

Sorry, i know that description isn't super detailed or interesting but sometimes skin ideas are just a short blurb. That blurb is then fleshed out by a concept artist, they create the look of what "soul fire" looks like or what Brand's demons look like, ect.

Yeah I had recommend it on a rioter's thread where he was creating drawings of possible skin ideas. Awesome work though and I appreciate the response!

I have to say. Besides the similarities with another company that shall not be named, I think I may end up buying all 3 skins... I wonder if Gstreet would agree - maybe you could provide some ideas that inspired these besides the oceanic request for Kass?

But seriously, to everyone involved: These new skins look amazing. And I'm glad Brand's skin looks awesome as hell. I love the cute lil' demons, the projections (his abilities) and his headpiece looks awesome with the vfx!

Is it possible we could see the early sketches on this skin? The other ideas and processes that resulted in this skin being a thing? Because I would die.

Regardless, an amazing skin for my favorite champion. I sincerely want to thank you all. Your vision and creativity as well as your dedication to the game and the community while working incredibly hard on making these things for us... I honestly really do appreciate it. Skins can be a form of artistic expression as well as just looking freakin' cool as hell. AND I CANNOT WAIT TO OBTAIN THIS SKIN (or Kassy's or Vi's... I need those. I NEED those.)

They will probably release skins for him when they rework him. He's always been a weird champion, even removed from the rotation because riot does not like how he works and doesn't want people playing him.

Yea, if you want to play him then do, he can still work, but he has no real identity other than just spamming ghouls AND being a competant fighter with base stats. That's all he's really ever been. They won't nerf him to hell if you want to play him, just know that it is a little sketchy.

obviously i know very little considering i never played him but ive heard take him mid. Easiest way to counter him is de-agro ghouls in bushes and thats hardest to do mid-lane... however ive never seen a yorick mid lane. Is that a thing?

No, Yorrick is very short ranged and sustained damage based, thus he will lose to the burst of an assassin, or the range of a mage (in general). With having no hard cc, no burst, no range, and no escape, he really doesn't thrive well against any midlaner. On top of that, Cho'gath is a hard counter to yorrick and Cho is fairly popular midlane still.

Just play him top and make the lane hell for the enemy top. He basically does the same job as nunu top. Makes the enemy top useless, but he ends up almost as useless himself.

iirc he was released when champs got 2 skins on release and his were Undertaker and Pentakill. So the next skin he gets will be his first since release.

Kennen (my main), Yorick, Taric, and Sion are the fourwho haven't had a new skin since 2011, though Sion has an excuse of him having all of his models re-done and Yorick and Taric were said to be getting new skins but only after their reworks, meaning kennen is really the champion who hasn't had a skin in the longest time without an excuse :'(

I have never played brand, but that looks hella cool. Sometimes, a cool skin splash is enough to make me buy a champion. (Arclight Velkoz , for example)
