I am impressed with the writing of this thus far, but I am not impressed by the timeframe in which it was produced. It seems like a whole lot of the production time was waiting for assets to come along with it (champ updates, game mode, art, etc.) when the writing for this could have been released a LONG time ago.... I hope this isn't the plan going forward because it isn't worth the wait.

LaowPing17 votesI love how the characters came to life. T.F. felt like a smooth guy with a sharp mouth. "Sounds like I kept you alive. You should thank me." Graves was tough as a motherfucker. Building on fire? Fucks not given. Hit with cards? Fucks not given. Pirates swarming? Fucks still not given. Long as I get to shoot T.F. it's K. I also enjoyed the P.O.V. from both characters. And lets not forget Gangplank. I didn't take him seriously before his rework. He looked more like a buccaneer then a pirate captain. Now the dude is meticulously torturing bitches in his room and making sure his crew can always hear it. That's the best way to instill fear into a crew that I have ever heard. Constant reminded of what happens if you go against him.
The only thing that makes me sad is that, according to the skin listings at the end, I'll have to wait til Act 3 to see my girl M.F. It's gonna be hell waiting to see my bae.

sp44118 votesIt SHOULDN'T be all we get in a year. You don't built a cohesive, massive world by making one event per year that just tells a bunch of introductions and then never picks it up again, we should be getting at least one of these updates per trimester.
I mean, we don't even know if they'll actually FINISH the story of Twisted Fate stealing some sort of special dagger from Gangplank, or if they'll just drop that part entirely and focus on something completely different, never touching up on that story ever again because tech issues prevent them from writing and publishing a story.
Look, I know I'm being a cynical asshole, but the narrative team eroded all of my trust on them, and they'll have to earn it back. I don't like being made a fool of.

The mother serpent kinda reminds me of Baron Nashor,feels a bit of a wasted opportunity to make the bilgewater map skin for the aram map and not for the summoners rift,where they could have easily replaced baron nashor with the mother serpent.

He just has a very particular task to remove things from Runeterra that could wipe out everything there and beyond. Though the things he deals with might have limitless power, he himself does not attempt to wield them. He knows how dangerous that is. That's why when he takes the egg from the Ionians/Noxians in Mountain, it's like he's snatching a handgun out of the hand of a baby.

turkeyBACON3 votesI have one teeny tiny complaint, and this is mostly cause I started reading it when I was in a bad mood already. The short one or two line formatting combo'd with the punctuating descriptions of extraneous details made it difficult to read with any flow at first. When I came back in a better mood, it was a lot easier to ignore and all but disappeared in the Graves and GP sections.
It's very likely all in my head and mostly personal preference (I get annoyed with GRRM's long winded food descriptions too). Otherwise I really enjoyed the tale so far and the character interactions especially with GP's section.
