I haven't seen the new champs' kits, but I hope that

they have enough power allocated in their budget that they function well as solo champions.

As a primarily solo queuer I'll be upset if their synergy gets them nerfed so that they're only good in competitive play when they're being drafted on the same turn.

Also, it's neat (and a bit strange) seeing new champions with Charm.

They only have one ability each that's stronger when the other is about. It's hard to tell at this point but I think they'll be fine solo.

Still, getting that much closer to your ADC as a support is pretty invaluable.

That being said you have to consider their kits outside of those blatant bonuses. The chick is pretty bursty, but without real mobility maybe their burst/CC combo can be kept in check.

It seems pretty minor. Range increase for one skill (We'll have to see the numbers), and that joint recall thing. That part's probably gonna be the most interesting to see the balance for, since you could probably pull of some quick objectives with one person recalling then dip together before the po po arrives.

From what I've seen, it's a bit of a give or take. They both have their unique qualities individually and it just powers up when nearby. It doesn't necessarily relegate them to lane together either in that matter. I can already see a scenario where they can each solo lane and translate that to team fights later on. Then again, we just have to wait for the overall results produced first through PBE, then later when they're actually released.

Also...new champion with a Charm...is male....Taric has competition.
