I put top sometimes as a secondary role and get stuck playing up there and I always am the first or second pick. If I pick any melee the other team goes teemo or quinn top and i sit under tower not playing or take infinite harass. That has to be the worst position to play unless you are the one counterpicking.
Tohob1 votesyea top isn't a very fun lane. most other lanes you're free to pick whatever but when it comes to top you have to be uncounterable and unbeatable or you'll get beaten.

5D Paragon1 votesTop has too little of a factor in-game if the other lanes aren't doing well, plus the match-ups tend to be stomp or be stomped for one of the laners, which isn't very fun when you're the stomped.
Hence why I switched to mid. It's more about outplay potential and roaming than just about who chose the stronger champion. They have more of an impact than a top laner does when your allies just lose hard.

burning you to half hp in 2 seconds, 
early game is easier to deal with,

first item stops any ap top laner. So all you have to worry about is melee and the occasional adc top (

2LUCID1 votesYeah I dislike top lane ... although I want to like it. The match ups are way too one sided, half the time it feels like the lane is lost before you even set foot in it.
