Not to say he's OP, but Warwick's W passive being global has serious jank
- It often gives away the enemy jungler's path for free during early clears
If you play a champion that doesn't have very healthy clears, or one that intentionally gets low like Olaf, then Warwick will constantly have a vague idea of where you are until you are strong enough to clear without getting low. The utility of global blood scent fucks over weaker junglers really hard.
- Allies can often fuck each other over by simply being low on completely different sides of the map.
Yesterday I was playing Warwick top, and because their ADC just took a really bad trade and was low under their turret, I was able to barrel into mid lane with 165% bonus movement speed for a gank less than ten seconds after stepping out of top lane. Mid essentially died because bot lost a trade. It's also pretty common for the jungler to get low and inadvertently set lanes up for ganks or just let a freshly backed/respawned Warwick get back into lane faster than he would've otherwise.
- What is considered "moving toward a target" isn't consistent or clear
Some times I've gotten a speed boost running totally perpendicular to the enemy, other times I've followed the trail and the game was confused about whether I should be going faster or not. It also seems like you can exploit the weird coding of this ability by using it to actually run away sometimes.
If you have to give him compensation buffs, so be it, but IMO Warwick shouldn't be able to hunt to complete opposite side of the map at least until the mid game and the way it's coded in general needs some work.
