I'll admit her builds are pretty flexible, though.

I don't understand why everyone always assumes I'm playing Akali in these situations lol. Just because I main Akali doesn't mean I play her every game. Sure you can use your CC ability but it's a shame that it'll be on cooldown when she wants to go in on you again because her E doesn't have a cooldown.

Mages who have targeted abilities: Karma, Annie, Cass, Anivia, Brand, Fiddlesticks, Lissandra, Malzahar, Ryze, Twisted Fate, Swain, Veigar, Viktor, Vladimir.

Mages who do not have targeted abilities: Ahri, Aurelion Sol, Azir, Gallo, Gragas, Heimerdinger, Karthus, Kennen, Lux, Morgana, Orianna, Rumble, Syndra, Taliyah, Vel'Koz, Xerath, Ziggs, Zilean and Zyra.

Each of the champions listed in the Has category has a single targeted ability, except Fiddle. Therefore, out of 132 Mage abilities in the game, 16 of them are targeted and in Lissandra, Ryze, one of Fiddle and TF's cases the slow from Rylai's won't apply because either the ability deals no damage or it applies a stun/snare longer than the Rylai's slow duration.

There's plenty of room for counterplay here.

And about half of the champions you listed as having non-targeted abilities have abilities that cannot be realistically dodged every time. Namely:

• Aurelion Sol: Try dodging his stars for 100% of the game while still trying to apply damage. And then there's his ult which pushes you right into his stars.
• Azir's soldiers' autoattacks ARE targeted, and they apply Rylai's.
• Heimerdinger's turret attacks ARE targeted, and they apply Rylai's.
• Karthus can just walk up to you with his E on. Not to mention his Q has a <1 second cooldown, so good luck dodging all of them.
• Kennen tends not to buy Rylai's from my experiences, but he can easily proc it with his W-enhanced autoattack, his E and his ult, none of which are skillshots.
• Morgana's pool is instant cast and deals damage in a virtually unavoidable time frame.
• Orianna's Q has a 3 second base cooldown at max rank, and even lower with the CDR she builds.
• Rumble just walks at you with Q (and W) on.
• Syndra's Q has a low cooldown, all of her basic abilities have fairly high radii (so they're easy to hit), and her ult is targeted.
• Zyra can easily apply Rylai's using her plants, which have auto-targeting attacks.

And all of those champions can buy a Luden's Echo or Runic Echoes, which can turn a missed skillshot onto a minion into a Rylai's proc.

Stop trying to give blue square a name.
