Can we PLEASE make BotRK and the new Devourer share the same Unique Passive name?

I can already tell Yi and Kindred are going to be massive issues if they aren't changed, and Kindred's already top tier.

item 3153 + item 1403 -> bruiser items is going to be the new thing people bitch about after this patch.

And the worst part with its new iteration is that Yi/Kindred will be the only users of the new Devourer. The numbers are too low to be viable on anyone else because nobody else benefits that much from solely attack speed. Everyone else will be going warrior->rageblade rather than devourer, even Nocturne, Jax, etc, and that's only if attack-speed builds still remain viable on them with mages being added back into the mix.

If the two items become unique, at the very least the new devourer can be made a little stronger so its viable on a few more champs.

At-least they won't be procing those effects twice, so its a fair trade.

Kindred will be doing about the same damage on average, if not more due to the 'extra' %current HP procs being replaced with %max HP procs. Yi will be doing more, considering he will likely still buy Rageblade in some situations. However, he likely won't be able to go tanky all that well anymore, which is a positive.

Everyone else will not use it because they need more stats to scale than just attack speed. Its simply not slot-efficient enough on them.

the main reason Yi built rage-blade was for the mixed damage combo with sated, Now the magic damage is gone completely from both. And you cant double that with phantom hit. I seriously doubt it will be worth it, you need ap ratios to make it work.

You can double it with phantom hit. It was moved to the new Rageblade, but that's not going to be the issue.

Devourer, botrk, Maw is still gunna be in every game on Kindred. That armor pen's gunna be so much more potent now.

However, you're right about the mixed damage. However, due to added %hp damage, Yi will still be able to fight tanks when going tanky, and he'll be doing enough damage to squishies throughout the game. It'll deal 30 damage when squishies have 1k hp, and ~60 (the old value) when they have ~2k late game. The difference here is that its now physical, which means he'll be doing more overall to ADCs. He'll still be a problem, I believe. Rageblade might just not be part of it now.

You can't double what isn't there... They scraped the magic damage rageblade passive completely.

Its the damage proc in general that I was referring to. Lacking magic damage isn't going to kill Yi. The %HP damage on new devouerer synergizes with armor pen, which is almost always included via Maw, so the damage difference will be minute.

Vs tanks he gains % hp damage. Squishies he'll still be able to kill no problem.

The biggest difference is going to be whether he wants botrk+maw for the general fighting power or rageblade+titanic hydra for the double procs on everything (what actually made him broken in the first place).

Bloodrazor's coming back? Nerfed, but still. That's exciting.

Bloodrazor was never good, though. And this is from an age where adding magic damage (it was magic damage back then) to bruisers was a godsend.

Considering its also nerfed...yeah. Not high expectations with the current numbers. Doesn't change that Yi/Kindred will be able to abuse the living hell out of it, though.

The only benefit is the lower cost, cause iirc, it was originally 3000 or 3200. Maybe even higher.

It being physical is most of what I meant by nerfed. The 1% matters a lot less than it not diversifying damage.
