Randuins omen not worth buying after this

In this upcoming tank class update riot wants to gut randuins omen. Cost lowered by 300 gold. Will give 75 less health. Slow during lowered to 2 seconds, it was 4 seconds. Slow % increased by 20% No longer reduce damage taken from critical strikes.

In my understanding, last time riot changed randuins omen they added the reduced crit dmg passive, but now they are removing it and adding nothing in its place. The only reason to get randuins was because the enemy team was spitting out tons of crits, but now there isnt a reason to ever buy randuins omen after these changes go live.

Whata your thoughts on randuins omen change? Do you agree that randuins is getting nerfed? Or do you think the changes to randuins omen are needed?

if theyre going to remove the crit damage reduction, they should really add something else to the item.

instead of nerfing the attack speed reduction, they could really ramp it up for example.

or just add the new helmet passive to randuins, just a -15% physical damage reduction instead of magic damage.

Exactly why i think the item is going to be crap after this nerf. Just buffig one of the other aspects of the item could help to make the item useful in some situations

I think they did it because no one would ever buy item 3110 because RO was so much better, while still doing a similar job (armor + reduced attack speed). But because it offered 500 health, an active AOE slow, and crit reduction, what would ever be a reason to get FH over it? Especially since alternative mana/mana regen items, like item 3010 and item 3107 were changed (buffed)/introduced.

Now it is more situational. If you just want to be an armor/mana heavy, ability spamming, tank, get FH. If you want a slightly cheaper item with an active AOE slow and a decent amount of health, get RO.
