while im just sitting here, wondering if knights vow will make bot lane bruiser/tank lanes a thing, or completely break adc.

12% damage reduction from knights vow 6% damage reduction from bond of stone 12% damage reduction from phantom dancers.

just above 27% permanent damage reduction at literally no cost to offensive power for marksmen, just for having someone sit next to them and do nothing.

"squishy damage dealers"

the moment when adc get better tank stats than tanks, without even having to itemize for it.

  1. Phantom Dancer is merely reduced damage from the target of your last auto-attack. It doesn't help you against long-range mages.

  2. Laning phase should be over by the point the ADC has Phantom Dancer. The earliest PD is usually a second item PD on Sivir.

  3. Knight's Vow glues the user to his partner. Also, I am fairly certain the item will either lose some of its stats or be more expensive eventually.

  1. wow, that is a really heavy restriction for a type of champion who fights by singling out a target to take him down with auto attacks. and by the way, the passive description doesnt mention auto attacks. it can be any form of damage, like an ashe w.

  2. i dont see how this is relevant or reduces the strength of the stacked damage reduction. it can easily be built as a second item after, say a bloodthirster.

  3. adc are protected by their supports in teamfights and skirmishes and usually stick to them anyways. again, this is not a restriction. and increasing the cost or base stats will still not change that it will make marksmen ridiculously tanky.

here is whats going to happen. adc are going to build item 3072 item 3046 and become tanky as shit without sacrificing damage. theyll just be able to straight up drain tank most other champions in the game.

i dont see warlords being removed either, so thats another potential source of free lifesteal that allows them to just heal through any form of sustained damage in combination with those items.
