Lots of us like long strategic games that take patience to win. Stop trying to make the game more appealing to watch for players who don't even play the game by trying to make games shorter and more "flashy". I like longer games because it rewards the team which have better brains than the team that just pushes their buttons as fast as possible.

If most games go to late game, then people would only play late game champions because all they have to do is farm and play safe and they win.
Early game champions are also more skill reliant most of the time because they rely on exploiting weaknesses, mistakes, and actively trying to make plays. That is why lcs uses elise and lee sin but in low elo they have poor win rates. So having an early game meta isn't even that bad.
