I hope that Lulu does not get "Kha'Zix-ed"

Remember when Khazix mid/top was a thing?

However he was a very strong jungler, and thus a contested pick at competitive battles. And due to this reason, Riot kept nerfing him around his jungle potential, and this affected his laning potential, to the point that he is not a strong laner anymore. I still use lane Kha'Zix but that's only because I like him and I hate jungle, also I am accustomed to what to do in a lane. However I recognize that Kha'Zix is no longer a strong pick for mid/top lane anymore, and is barely viable at the jungle.

I fear that the same thing will happen to Lulu - She was designed to be a support, but thanks to her potential at mid/top lane, she received many nerfs in the past - but even with those nerfs, she is STILL a contested pick at the Worlds and is still a strong pick for top/mid lane. As long as she can do what she can currently do, she will always be strong.

My fear is that they invalidate her viability for top/mid lane to make her good as a support only - or the reverse. I honestly play her more as a solo laner because I hate support too, but I know that there are people who like to play her as a support more than as a solo laner, and I know that those people would not like to have Lulu forced to be balanced around her solo laning potential and thus, killing her support potential - just like myself, and many players, were upset to see Kha'Zix being balanced just around his jungle potential, without taking into consideration that he could also be a solo laner.

I love playing Lulu, so obviously I'm not objective. But I think that it's okay for champions to be viable mid and support; Karma, Annie, Morgana, and Zyra work decently well in both places. I think that the main problem with Lulu right now is that she scales a little bit too well. If her focus was shifted just a tiny bit more towards her utility (her W over her Q), she could be healthy in both lanes.

The problem with Lulu is that she never falls behind because her utility is enormous and does not rely on her having high amounts of AP, so even if you shut her down in lane, she can still be useful, to the point that sometimes a Lulu that is behind is still more useful to her team than some champions who are ahead, including champions that fall off late game such as Elise and Lee Sin. Building AP just allows her to be also useful as a damage source, but trying to shut down Lulu is not a good choice if you don't also shut down the rest of her team.

She is a low risk champion due to this and the fact that she has decent mobility so that she has an easy time in lane. Also her reward is huge due to the above reasons.

I really hope people understand that lulu is broken in profressional play and not in soloq. She's not that good in soloq, she's basicly a worse raka.
