GLORIOUS BRAND CHANGE IN 5.11

Voidac··10 votes·1,167 views

Finally. After two years playing this game. My favorite champion, ol' walkin' wildfire himself, received a change to his ultimate that made it 75% less useless! THIS IS ALL I'VE EVER WANTED (coughmaybeabitmoreutilitycough). I'm excited to see what other Rito-sama has in store for the guy. Which brings me to my question, what do you have in mind for Brand, Riot? And where do you think he stands right now?

And for the community, how do you feel about Brand in general? This change is pretty big. Brand hasn't seen much attention in a while.

You know... it seems whenever they buff a champion, they have a higher chance to receive a skin. Literally praying to the Gods over here. A man can dream...

EDIT: "we realized Pyroclasm was a pretty neat place to start". Does this mean there might be more changes to the walking volcano outside of Lil' Pyro?

This "buff" should have been fixed long ago. They have no love for poor Brand.

Brand has a solid win rate and is totally fine in solo queue at two different roles. Is there something you want buffed about Brand?

I think peoples issue was that he just got no attention for so long. But your right that doesn't mean that he needs/needed a change.

It's not that he's weak, it's more like his ultimate is just really unsatisfying. A lot of the time it just stops without doing anything, and even then the damage is complete shit unless you're super fed.

Im very very happy about this change. It is a slight buff but more a QoL in my opinion. It really does look like there is going to be more in store for him but im not sure if I want more. This was enough (except for maybe a slight range increase on his E, that would fix everything IMHO). Although maybe they could fix the AA animations on zombie brand too, that would be perfect

I don't want them to kill him ;_; every time Rito goes "stay tuned for changes" I start digging a grave for my mains.

I rarely play mid lane, but when I do, I prefer Brand.

Stay toasty my friends (insert fire and stuff)

Very important fix. I think Brand is alright where he stands right now, but I don't see him often enough to make a solid judgement call on that.

This is going to help him IMMENSELY in teamfights. I think you will start seeing a lot more Brand on the rift.

BTW, i think he does have utility with his stun.

Im happy about the brand buff, even if it might get me killed a few times. Brand needed a little love, one zhonya or untargetable skill made him a lot less useful in fights, this will help him a lot. (Still might need a little love for laning phase imo)

Always glad to see the living incarnation of purging the world by fire gaining power.
