To anyone complaining about jungle changes

Let's look:

FIRST CAMP BONUS XP 120 ⇒ 165

More experience for the first camp.

SMALL CAMP RESPAWN 150 seconds ⇒ 120 seconds

Faster respawns so you're never really forced to do nothing while waiting

NEW SMALL CAMP RESPAWN ICONS If your team had vision of a small camp when it was killed, you'll see a respawn icon on the minimap 15 seconds before respawn

They literally tell you when your camps will respawn (and the enemies, if you're into counterjungling).

All of the following you must take into account the decrease in respawn - so I'll list them altogether then compare the "exp per 10 minutes" before and after.

KRUGS BASE XP 247 (217 on first clear) ⇒ 160 (Ancient Krug's first clear penalty removed) WOLVES BASE XP 115 ⇒ 95 GROMP BASE XP 115 ⇒ 135 RAPTORS BASE XP 115 ⇒ 95

They also, though, made the gromp stronger (and gave it more gold). Prior, you got 4 clears/10 minutes at max efficiency. Now, you get 5 clears/10 minutes at max efficiency.

Krugs before - 217+3x247: 958 exp in first 10 mins, 988 per 10 after first. Krugs after - 160x5: 800 exp per 10 minutes Wolves before - 115x4 = 460 exp per 10 minutes Wolves after - 95x5 = 475 exp per 10 minutes Gromp before - 115x4 = 460 exp per 10 minutes Gromp after - 135x5 = 675 exp per 10 minutes Raptors before - 115x4 = 460 exp per 10 minutes Raptors after - 95x5 = 475 exp per 10 minutes

Krugs change - minus 158 first 10, minus 188 after Wolves change - plus 15 Gromp change - plus 215 Raptors change - plus 15

Net change 87 more exp first 10 minutes, 57 more exp per 10 minutes after that. So you're finding it harder to gain experience now and that you're underlevelled? Then you're jungling wrong.

On another note:

Minions respawn every 30 seconds after 1:05 first spawn. Buffs spawn at 1:30, as do raptors/wolves. We will assume you start one of these monsters. Minions take approximately 25-30 seconds to get to lane, which will be added on the times.

To reach level 6 as a laner requires a total of 9 minion waves. If we assume the laner is perfect and in lane until level 6, the earliest the laner can get level 6 (solo lane) is 6:00. If we assume the laner is approximately 80% efficient (ex: is backed for about 20% of minion exp), the earliest they can get level 6 is 11.25 waves which rounds up to 12 (you can't have a quarter wave in lane). As such, the earliest a laner would get it would be 7:30.

The jungler, assuming perfect clear, would gain the exp necessary (2400) in blank: 165 (buff) + 165 (second buff) + 165 (scuttle, assuming they get one) + Nx(160 + 115 + 115 + 95 (camps)) Buffs and one scuttle give a total of 495 exp, leaving 1905. Each clear gives a total of 485 every 2 minutes. Each buff set gives a total of 330 exp every 5 minutes. Assuming straight farming and thus no leeching lane exp, this means that after first clear, they have 980 exp, then 2 minutes later, they have 1465 exp, then at about 6-7 minutes, they have 2280 exp. As such, if the jungler only farmed their jungle, they'd have level 6 by the time of (or at) their second buff clear. This would be approximately 6:45 at the earliest, if the first buff is cleared in 15 seconds (which is possible with a leash).

So, we're seeing that the Jungler will reach level 6 with perfect efficiency 45 seconds before a solo laner. The jungler won't have perfect efficiency likely, but this means that they'll also be leeching exp from lanes and/or kills on the enemy jungler. So all in all, it's fairly even now, whereas before it was much more solo-lane sided (i.e. the jungle would be underlevelled).

Okay? This doesn’t change that solo laners are LEVEL FUCKING 9 by the time junglers hit 6.

Not sure if you're serious but a minor increase of 4% (according to your math) if you literally afk farm and kill every camp as it spawns is garbage and is completely offset when you factor in the amount of extra time you have to spend clearing now. You just kinda ignored the time it actually takes to clear camps completely lol. You also ignored taking time to do anything else but afk farm. Once you factor in extra clearing time and that they buffed camps it's still a net loss. You have to spend far more time clearing for a practically negligible increase in XP but jungle XP was complete trash already so it's still complete trash.

And guess what is happening? Junglers take lane XP when they can or they fall super far behind solo laners. Just like last season.

Half my games I hit 6 just after my duo lane.

Other half I hit it before

By 11 i have caught up to my solo lanes

So you ignore spawn times, the increased clear times, the less gold, the tough camps, and somehow say, "assuming perfect" over and over... Yeah you're just fucking wrong dude.

Go play 100 jungle games with every jungle champ and show that you can only keep up with Yi or Jax or maybe WW.

And then show how far you're lagging behind.

Because you will be. On paper you're wrong. IN real life you're way fucking off.
