Will matchmaking ever have a complete rework?

**Premades should not decrease the quality of the randoms ** The current system says a duo means higher mmr, so lower the mmr of teammates to average vs the other side Resulting in a complete wipe

FIX It should drastically increase the mmr of teammates to average vs the other side

Defeats and Wins anchor your chances to win or lose Currently if you lose 2-3 games, you will eventually get a really crappy enemy team for a pub stomp Or if you are on a win streak, you will eventually get really bad teammates

FIX Longer queue times for a more minor mmr difference rather than a quick queue into a pub stomp or complete wipe

I doubt that your description is truly accurate.

If a duo has inflated effective MMR for the matchmaking then it should put you with both allies and enemies as close to that adjusted MMR as possible. It's only logical. Perhaps what trips you up is if the people in the duo have very different MMR from each other it will inevitably mess things up.

Take for example this situation

2000 MMR player duos with a 1500 MMR player, and I'll throw a number out there for the duo boost, 10%, But I don't know the actual number. This is just for the sake of the argument.

Average and apply the boost: ( (2000+1500) / 2 ) * 1.1 = 1925

OK so what happened? You have a 1500 MMR player in a 1900-2000 MMR game. Now imagine you have the possibility of another duo doing the same thing on either team. How can the matchmaker actually create a truly balanced game if duoing is popular? It can't.

and BTW statistically speaking, the 1500 player will gain more and lose less MMR and get boosted as fuck while the 2000 MMR player will trend towards losing MMR since every loss will be weighted slightly more than wins as long as he's duoing with somebody lower MMR. Only duo with a lower MMR if you know for a fact that you have good synergy as players and that player is better than their MMR and just hasn't played a lot of ranked yet.
