2v1 top lane with a support + Smite ADC is going to be the new meta

You get EXP on par with a solo lane by shoving and taking gromp + blue between waves. This puts you levels ahead of a conventional jungler, making it pretty hard/impossible for them to gank you, because they'll likely lose the 2v2.

You might have to give up the first dragon, but it doesn't really matter, because you can take the turret and rotate by the second dragon. Even so, the 2 level disadvantage the jungle has to mid lane is often enough to stop them from doing a risky a dragon, so you may not even lose the first dragon.

The lack of early pressure also doesn't matter, because the level gap is now forcing jungles to play passively early and not gank early. The enemy jungle is also unlikely to invade your bottom side, because they can't survive being collapsed on while at such a big level disadvantage.
