Vladimir has one of the lowest attack damage in the game at 48, gaining 3 additional attack damage with each level. With Cull, he should be able to farm under turret, so would this item, theoretically be good on him compared to Doran's Shield or Dark Seal?

I read all your replies but this one sounds the best. I will definitely look into this build.
I will try to auto caster minions and use abilities on siege minions.

Well dshield is a lot better if you're in a scary lane.
If you're in a safe one starting ruby should be fine.

I wouldn't bother with Cull.
Bronze Demon1 votesearly ad is good on tanky/dps mages like swain/vlad. mostly mages that dont rely on single rotation bursts (annie, etc)
EDIT: especially if said mage has bad ap ratios.
