DnD is like being sad that your favorite pet died, but then your asshole friend had said pet taxidermed for you with its legs cut off. Hey, this is just as good, right?

Not really.

Dominion is about as similar to DnD as Rift would be similar to a new version of Rift without any neutral monsters.

Not really.

Dominion is about as similar to DnD as Rift would be similar to a new version of Rift without any neutral monsters. And without the bottom lane.

I must admit that, while these two changes are very good, they are not the reason I haven't been buying RP lately, or the reason why I constantly wonder why I'm still playing this game after all these years.

Rather, it's because of actual in-game gameplay / balance issues. Anti-fun champions who sap all of the fun out of the game and are never addressed and player behaviour issues that never seem to go away.

I'm slowly starting to realise that Riot's vision for the game just doesn't mesh with my own opinions on what would make it better.
