Why isn't Press the Attack Adaptive?
I think it would be a solid option for DPS mages like Ryze, Cassio, Azir and others that constantly want to be chucking spells and might want a more aggressive rune path rather than utility or burst

There isn't an equal to Deathfire Touch tho :( The meteor is way worse. What will happen to Champions like Teemo or Rumble? Especially Rumble, considering he is a strong pick in the competitive scene.
For teemo there are plenty of options:
On Hit Builds:
AP Builds:
Rumble, on the other hand, is a lot trickier. I mean I guess he can go Phase Rush but that is hardly optimal. He would be one of the mages that would benefit a lot from Press the Attack being adaptive
It is adaptive. The preseason update website doesn't accurately reflect the actual current runes.
yeah just found out
It is now. This is the latest rendition.
"Attacking the same champion grants a stack of AD or AP, Adaptive (3 - 9 per stack). While you have at least 3 stacks, your target takes 8% (12% if you are melee) increased damage from all sources. Can stack infinitely. Attacking a new target causes you to lose 2 stacks. Stacks begin rapidly falling off 3 seconds after last gaining a stack."
that is great! I was checking this site
http://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/featured/preseason-update
Do you know if Legend: Bloodline will also be adaptive between life steal and spell vamp?
They do plan on updating the site every so often, but so sparingly that it will most likely be out of date more often that not.
S@20 has a google doc that they plan to update with each change if you want to keep up.
Is this on Surrender@20? Where can we find recent changes to the runes?
That's where i got it from, yes.
Wait so if Press the Attack is adaptive and adaptive is based on your damage profile and not your actual scalings/ratio types (hence why Doran's blade start Kennen can get AD from runes)...I'm so sorry Corki.
Hmmm I think adaptive goes off what you have built more off (AP vs AD) as opposed to Camille's passive which determines which type of damage she is going to take more off. Could be wrong though
Nashor/rageblade/gunblade, then fiddle around with dorans blades, rings, longswords, books, culls to make them exactly equal. Winder what happens then?
Assuming you can make them equal I would guess two things could happen:
AD win because all characters have base AD Whichever stat is listed first wins
