I think Darius needs some minor buffs to his base stats, it could go a long ways

The buffs I was thinking weren't very big, they would just help solve some of his issues slightly.

For starters, he has one of the lower base health for melee Bruisers, increasing it by 20-30 at level 1 would go a long ways and wouldn't make him overpowered or anything, just bring him a little more in line for having no tank or sustain in his kit.

His mana per level could be increased, by around 10 to give him some more mana late game, and possibly increase his base mana by 20-30, this buff isn't 100% needed and should be the last one considered among all of these.

Darius's movespeed should honestly be 345, and not 340. He's incredibly slow for a melee and ONLY gains a speed boost IF his enemy is bleeding.

His problem is getting to his enemy, he can stick to them fine. Bringing the base movespeed to 345 would be huge for Darius chasing people down without his bleed stacks and getting to lane a lot faster.

Those are honestly the only buffs he could use to his base stats, his base AD and Armor is fine, along with his health regen, his mana and mana per level are a bit low and his level 1 base health could use a slight increase.

I don't believe these buffs will make him op, but if you disagree don't be afraid to discuss in the comments section.

Downvoting without giving an explanation for why you feel this idea is bad adds NOTHING to the discussion.

For starters, he has one of the lower base health for melee Bruisers,

Generally, bruisers and tanks occasionally have lower defensive base stats because they're expected to itemize in that direction anyway. Or have higher base stats, but low movement speed. Same with offensive stats, it's a collection of many variables. Nautilus, for example, has lower base health (but slightly higher growth), lower base armor and growth, but slightly higher attack damage than Zed. Zed's health regen starts lower, but grows at a faster rate as well. This is due to Zed having an offensive build path, and Naut having a defensive build path.

And 340 movement speed isn't terrible, especially when he gets a speed boost if his enemy is bleeding. Doesn't he have an axe for a gap closer? o.O Have you tried building item 3143 to help out? I hope you aren't building full damage on Darius.

Randuins is helpful when he gets in range, it used to fix Darius's kiting issue to an extent till they nerfed it in season 4 to no longer slow when you get auto attacked.

Edit: Nasus and Renekton have slightly less base health than Darius at 1 and 18 but have a huge health steroid to give them a lot of health and tankiness(health is a tank stat)

Sion has less base health than Darius, but it isn't much and he infinitely gains health in the game.

Darius does not have a gap closer, it only pulls enemies to you, if they have blinks your only tool to get them to you is useless.

Edit: I am mistaken, Nasus and Renekton don't have more of both, they have slightly less than Darius at 1 and 18.
