Honest Question

Why am I not better? I feel so embarrassed I've played so much (1000+ games) and I'm still silver 1-3 depending on the day. I try hard to learn, improve, and get better. Is my MMR just tanked? Do I nee. A new account? Lol

Wen I first started a little over a year ago I spammed udyr and Garen games then I learned more about the game. Sorry for pity post. I FEEL like I'm a lot better than I used to be but my climbing doesn't show it per se

Bcs your elo is bad:)..you need to use your brain in order to carry:)..most of your games are like back and forth..fighting all the time mid. If you actually take your time and think, you will get better;)

It helps playing a few champs and maining a role..knowing your dg output helps you alot;)

Thanks man! I do try to think, but I'm obviously missing something lol

This arethe main objectives

Towers,dragons, inhibs barons etc.

But people forget that farm and taking buffs, jungle camps etc. are also objectives:)..

your elo is so bad man..i;ve spectated a guy who was silver 3..the stupidest game i;ve seen:))..nobody did nothing smart..just run around the map and not doing anything:)..If you are silver, you are like them:|.. You just need to take advantage of the enemy mistakes..the higher you go,the less mistakes people make..in low elo,,people make mistakes after mistakes and you can capitalise on this, really easy..Just be smart about it

In Season 4 I was stuck between S2 and S4, going back and forth about 14 times and finally quitting at S2. I had mostly Nami games, but there were a lot I lost because I was trying out other champions and roles.

Come Season 5 I was placed in S1, I played only Nami and I shot up to Gold 3 very quickly, maxing out at mid G1 before floating around and ending in G2.

My renewed focus on my best role/champ and learning more about the game in my downtime did a lot of good to overcome that wall. Took me 6.5 months to do all 10 of my placement matches too lol.

Basically, use a break away from the game to learn about it outside of playing and redouble your focus on fewer champions when ranking and that could be all you need to get out.

You might be looking at the wrong metrics when trying to improve, a lot of people claim they win their lane every game and are held back by other lanes losing, but they don't see all the missed opportunities they might have had to roam to other lanes and get them ahead, for one team to come out ahead of another only 2 lanes need to win, if you're just killing your lane opponent over and over again while they are worth 120 gold you're losing value, if you had roamed bot and killed the bot lane you could set your bot lane ahead and possibly get a dragon or a bot tower, so the kill mid lane by comparison isn't even worth going for at that point because the opportunity cost for that kill(not getting any of the benefits mentioned) is higher than 120 gold, so even though you got the kill, you lost out because of it. Go over some of your past games and look at how many objectives you took part in taking(Riot should really add an objective assist stat) kills are irrelevant, you could have 0 kills vs the enemies 90, but if you kill the enemy Nexus it won't matter, try to improve the number of structures you helped destroy every game, then look at how many epic monsters you helped take down, and then at how many buffs you contested. When you watch pro streams look at why they are doing something, and ask them if you're not sure about why they wen't a certain item or backed off/went in at a certain time.

Great call! I need to start looking for plays around the map, near my lane.
