At this point idk why people look forward to these roster updates

They do the complete opposite of what riot says it will do. Upcoming tank update? yeah im not looking forward to that crap at all. Probably gonna introduce some new items that will become busted on unintentional champions then maybe 2 - 4 months later the problems that birthed will finally be addressed after "analyzing data".

Juggernaut: 3 out of 4 failed (arguably 2) Skarner Mordekaiser Garen (can be argued Garen was not a failure) Overall Failure Marksman: 1 out of 6 failed (arguably 3) KogMaw (arguably Graves Caitlyn ) Overall Success, Arguably Neutral Mages: 2 out of 6 failed (arguably 3) Malzahar Vladimir (arguably Velkoz ) Overall Success, Arguably Neutral Assassins: 1 out of 4 failed (arguably 2) Rengar ( arguably Leblanc ) Overall Success, Arguably Neutral

So, 35% of the big champion updates in Roster Updates are failures. Arguably, 50% of the big champion updates in Roster Updates are failures. I agree, the statistics are very grim. However, they ARE only focusing on 3 this time around and hopefully have learned by now. If the statistics don't go down, I would say it is time to pull the plug on class updates. However, if they work this time around, I say give them another chance.

The roster updates are more than just the champion changes, though. There's a lot of itemization changes that go along with them. Juggernaut items brought along Sterak abuse (which were eventually solved), Marksmen update brought up the general power level of ADCs across the board, along with Graves draintanking forever (Graves got better, and power creep is being addressed), MYMU decreased build diversity that was already minimal, and Assassin update broke lethality.

Of course I'm listing only the bad parts, but that's why some people don't like these class updates. They don't think the benefits the updates bring (which definitely exist, and I'm sure most agree here) are worth the costs.

I am aware that there are also item changes, but those are not things that can't be solved with balance updates and number tweaks. That's not a failure, that's a balance issue. Not a failure.

The main issue is if Riot can respond to these balance issues fast enough, which is something that doesn't directly have to do with Roster Updates and more with how Riot balances the game.
