I don't think akali is op by an means, the thing I find unfair about her is how long her mark lasts on you, I laned against her top lane and as soon as her mark timed out she would throw another Q so essentially you were constantly marked unless you let her AA you. Personally I don't think thats fair. Perhaps reduce the duration of her mark.
