Aka flash on Annie example it's practically required on her and others who depend on it JUST TO FUNCTION. it's a bad mobility spell proof is that everyone takes it. Let's not mention how it's required in every game. I don't see why flash isn't just "put" on every champ and that's it no other 1000 dashes needed. It's bad design (again saying this) for a champ for flash just to function.

She doesn't need it, she jist has a harder time catching people out with her AOE stun/numerous
No champions need a summer spell to function (excluding smite in jungle), it just makes the champ easier to play.

If it's not needed then why does burst mages take it? It's a spell that's garbage (not useless ofc) due to its design perspective assuming a champion power budget behind it. That fact that everyone takes it pretty much says that instead of going say heal/cleanse diversity.
It's quite easy to disagree though which is funny instead of thinking outside the box.
Again what makes it garbage isn't the utility on it, its the fact it have 0 counterplay to the enemy side because it offers false security distance of "hmmm I should be safe in this range" range because juggernauts like garen inflate this example. It's a great spell but a garbage design in other words.

Riot has said themselves that the game's balanced around Flash. Some people go against the wave once in a while but Flash is low-key required.

It's not a bad spell it's a bad design that makes the spell disgusting.
