Brand Or Annie Support

Brand often takes kills for himself when supporting intentionally and unintentionally. While he can carry the team while the ADC is left underfed, this oftentimes results in a delayed finish for either team as Brand denies both his ADC and the opposing ADC kills with his extreme poke.

Annie, on the other hand, supplies the ADC with poke on top of a situational stun without the ever present threat of taking kills from her ADC. If the ADC fails to make the most of Annie support then she can easily take the kill. A fed Annie support can have a Tibbers tank objectives very easily.

Both champions have seen great success in the Support role, but I'd have to say that Annie is the superior choice for the job.

Wish I could add Zyra onto the list but frankly I'd rather have Annie's CC over Zyra's extra damage,...

I honestly have always loved Annie, and was hoping she was still good at the job of supporting, because I haven't seen in her in literally months.

I believe you mean "support". Not support.

Annie's statistics from champion.gg aren't so great at the platinum+ rating. She's seeing a ~47% win rate. Perhaps acceptable, but not stellar.

At lower elos, though, I'd expect burst supports like Annie to be better than ever in the current meta. Games are shorter, and gold counts for supports are higher, meaning they're less likely to fall off. Also, item 3092 . That's a thing now. And its active synergizes extremely well with Annie's kit.

Annie's nerf to auto attack range hurt her pre lvl 3. Brand procs spell thief with just one ability and his lvl 2 is no joke. What made Annie good was her ability to wittle ppl down with autos and then burst them at a low level. Not so easy for her to do that now.
