How to make Twisted Fate a bit more viable

Don't let enemies see his pick a card. He was never a good laner/duelist,and im pretty sure even when someone sees a tf stroll up to them, flipping through his cards, they back off. Just look for a drop in his mana. why not?

Yea...let me not know whether or not he's going to stun me/slow me or just fuck up and throw a mana card...thats the whole point to the visiblity of his cards is to give counter play.

Counterplay, you say? What to do against Veigar 's aoe stun then? Even if it misses his ultimate is fatal.

Bad laner? Being able to stun on AA almost on demand. Q goes through minions for a long distance with damage drop. Mana sustain that's quite easy to use One of the best gankers of other lanes in the game.

Aside from not having a lot of mobility outside of his ult, he's strong. Very strong. Only thing holding him back is the same reason Brand doesn't see a lot of top end play. Mobility is OP.

Even then. Just having them watch you flip cards now is enough to scare them. For the duration of the ability you can sit on it while AAing, then pick a card at the end to do what you want with it. It's like facing an Annie who went full AD on runes and sits on her passive all lane while harassing with autos.

I can only assume you just started trying him out. He's one of the higher skill champs to get good at. He can be quite frustrating at first.

his stun is AA ranged, and visible,so back off until its done. Leblanc is the same thing. Q is a slow skillshot, move. Mana sustain is on hit,and lets them know you can't stun for a while. His ult isn't that great,he has to walk out of lane in the direction he wants to go to,so ward and ping. not to mention that everyone knows when its active and can see where he wants to go before he reaches. oh and he is weak against EVERY assassin except maybe kat.

He doesn't have to load the card right away. He can sit on the rotation while CSing and you can't go near him without expecting him to lock in a yellow as you move to him and stun->Q you.

Q is amazing at waveclear. It is slow, but it's ability to clear the wave is strong. Also Nid's spear is slow and blocked by creeps. Slow doesn't always mean you're going to dodge it. Even pro's get hit by Nid spears.

Mana sustain is Mana sustain. His early game mana costs are not that heavy. And one of his abilities doesn't even cost mana to use, just a setup. Use it at the end of the a wave then back off so they can take advantage of it.

If you can stay warded 100% of the time and know where he always is, good job. But he doesn't have to ult from the river. He can move to near red/blue buffs. All he has to do is walk back to his tower then move where he wants to avoid you finding out.

He's weak vs every assassin because he's immobile. That doesn't mean he can't do something about it. He has stronger waveclear than most. He can lane safely while shuffling W. If the assassin roams he can follow very easily. As well as his ult can prevent ganks. Reason he doesn't get played in the LCS isn't because of assassins. It's because of the way junglers have changed. He can handle one opponent with his stun and farm safely. But two can make it too hard to deal with.

In most card games it's considered cheating to see the enemy's hand. People shouldn't be allowed to TF's hand. Thumbs up for interesting idea.
