If anyone is still having trouble with Klepto GP, pick up Yorick

Trust me, guy absolutely dominates lane vs GP. He can viably sustain through GP's early Q harass and at level 3 with ghouls up you can all in him and blow his flash due to him having no other way to escape the wall. You can do this at any point to blow his flash and later when his flash is down he is just a free kill for you or the jungler.

Ever since I found this out I've been picking Yorick as a counter to him and haven't lost lane to a GP yet (like, not even close).

And by winning lane you just hold so much more map pressure especially as Yorick. And if you see noone is top to help GP out, you can just walk under tower and destroy it cuz GP can't even burst you down to stop you.

It's truly beautiful.

And then GP gets 3 items and goes 10x your damage and is infinitely more useful

I've yet to see one reach that point in any of my ranked games. Don't underestimate Yorick's damage.

I am not sure what Elo you are in but in Plat-Diamond you can't hold a good GP down.

A decent GP will just stand inside his barrel and Q you for klepto Stacks every time you walk up for CS and if you W him he will just barrel combo you as you try and walk up. If that isnt working he will just Q the minions and still out gold you.

His issue right now is no matter how you play him he wins eventually.

Diamond 4. It's a cake walk for Yorick.

You walk right through his Q and barrel and just slam the fuck out of him. Lmao. Once he uses Q, barrel and enhanced auto he's done. Meanwhile you and your gang gangbang him in your wall and he can't do anything about it besides Q once in awhile.

I just permaban gp right now and then I keep seeing gangplanks complain about me baning a weak or balanced champion lol. At least on paper it does seem that yorick does well into him due to his wall although tbh I can't say much about that match up since I never play either champions.

GP is in no way weak, but him using Klepto is nowhere near as broken as people make it out to be. You're sacrificing a keystone rune just to get your items faster basically.
