What's the dumbest thing you did when you first started LoL?
I used to use flash to get to lane faster.

how sad ? right...?
[zombie-brand-facepalm]
Deciding to main support.
Are you still a support main?
Are you still a support main?
Yep. I'd say 90% of my games over the past four years have been as support, partially because I actually know how to do it but mostly because I'd rather not get whiny people yelling about roles in champion select in broken English :P
rush on
.
All thanks to Riot's wonderful tutorial!
Took smite in the mid lane so it was easier to get farm.
IIRC there was a guy in Bronze IV who took smite on Jhin so he could CS between reloads.
I've built full health regen Skarner, because once I saw a Mundo healing and wanted to heal like him.
FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS
Throw
lantern thinking it does damage..
I started in 2013 and thought smite was the most broken shit just looking at the numbers.
Took me many games to realize i couldn't smite champions.
Oh and another one was me trying to use teleport on minions by using the mini map (like you would with towers) to teleport, good old lock cam days.
I played using my laptop's touch pad until about level 20 because I was too cheap to buy a mouse.
Glad I'm not the only one, haha. For me however, I did not buy a mouse until after my ranked placements. Absolute dumbest thing I ever did in this game.
I didn't play the tutorial way back in 2011 (dunno if they had it), proceeded to walk down lane as a Leona support and fed three kills before I realised we're not supposed to duel at every moment of the game.
3 void staff on karthus
Built two
on
.
I mean, she told me to "Move swiftly!"
whenever the bots got too aggressive I'd run all the way back to tower and hide until I thought it looked safe to cs again, rinse and repeat, like a scared puppy LOL
i stacked
on
never thought about getting some attackspeed
i felt like a god though face tanking the
's in my games
and bragged in post game lobby how i did the most damage so i must be the best and the game is super easy etc
took me a level to finally realize i was playing vs bots . .
When i started jg my friend who was teaching me was like ok gank my lane, me: why? him: So i can win lane me: why cant you do that yourself? him:.....(internally screaming)
Quick learner!
Maxed E on Ashe first because I thought that the more gold I got in the early game, the more useful I'd be later on.
Also, I never took pots 'till like level 20 because I thought that the expense wasn't worth it, and I'd be better off spending the 35g on items.
That c
build though. Build an avarice blade and maybe a philosopher's stone (both RIP) and you were set.
Played over 2k coop vs AI games
You're joking. I hope you're joking.
Nope! :D They are on record. And about 1500 of them were all on locked screen hahahahahaha
That would have gotten boring so fast for me. Amazing that you're still playing League after 2000 monotonous bot games. LOL
How anyone plays on locked screen, I will never understand. But maybe I'm just used to moving my screen because I grew up playing RTS games.
I trusted my teammates.
I wouldn't fight, ever. "Leave me alone I'm just trying to kill these minions ;-;"
Adc leblanc.
I didnt know even what an adc was.
My teammates wanted to report me, and I didnt know exactly why.
Newcomers start at high silver, this is TOXIC AS F. They should never start at this point, I screwed completely my teammate's game.
Garen mid.
Built all AD on Nidalee before I even checked her abilties, even buying 100% AD runes.
I bought RP for Azir, refunded azir, then bought him again. With RP.
And Lastly: Built Thornmail on Ashe. Oh wait...
Getting smite to cast it on champs and not realising it didnt work for quite some time
Dear god what was I thinking.
I built
, woo
My friend told me to build a tear and he forgot to say what to upgrade it to, so I picked manamune 'cause it had a cool name, and I was used to Dota where the only damage you could buy was AD...
Expected to play a balanced game.
Probably my dumbest mistake. Should've known what I was getting into :^)
Used locked screen. My stupidity haunts me to this day.
Refuse to buy pots because "it gives so little HP is it even worth it" (this was when pots were cheaper too... and we had mana ones [good thing i learned before they left so that i could be sad like everyone else])
i played with a mouse
built lux with random items(or not build at all)
at lv5
fed 0/23/1
to bots
beginner bots
Dumbest thing ever?
Installed.
Bought champions with RP.
I bought only attack speed runes when I first started thinking "Oh this is perfect, every champion will benefit from these"
Just to find out I wasted 4 months worth of IP, thanks again for the AMAZING first timer tutorials Rito :^)
Returned to the Game after quitting for over 3 years.
I remember the first thing I did was to play
, then tried to Spin2Win to destroy structures.
Orianna ult to clear a wave, every time it was up
