So why are we able to lifesteal from wards

Damage to wards dealt is 1

How is someone able to heal from wards with lifesteal if you're only hitting 1s on it

The same reason dealing 1 damage to Zyra's plants doesnt grant lifesteal

Wait

Yeah I would like to know how wards have "life" to steal from them... they aren't exactly a LIVING creature..

But then again, how does Jarvan's Flag give you Attack Speed? Where is the logic in most things of this game? XD

The flag of Demacia steels the resolve of any true patriots of the nation that gazes upon it. There are very little citizen more patriotic than crownprince Jarvan the 4th. Demacia, now and forever!

Uh

Neither is Blitzcrank. He's a bunch of programs and machine parts.

True true. Same with quite a few others like Anivia... pretty sure a Bird made of ice isn't exactly "alive"

Bc coding issues, im guessing.

If you have Ashe's passive up and you have the Frenzy mastery, you can stack up all your stacks on a ward.

Because, even though the health is displayed as 3, it actually has "infinite" health. It triggers destruction upon being hit a total of 3 times (5 for pink). Hence why it shows 3, it counts down the amount of hits it requires.

Wards have a life too. They have feelings, and we need to treat them as sentient beings. This whole class system in the game of champions > wards needs to go. We need equality.

I mean, yeah, that sounds like a glitch, but so what? Is getting sustain off wardclearing really that much of a game-changing issue?

If you have a huge amount of lifesteal (or playing a champ that can do a ton of damage to lifesteal from, or both), it can be a bit game changing. You never know when that health you got from clearing a vision ward can save your life in a fight that happens few seconds later and you survive with 50 health.

thats a rather specific scenario, I wouldnt worry bout it cuz again... jungle creeps, scuttles, minons, dragon, a champion you caught out, and even mtherfking baron; if u had enough AS.. could outlife steal baron's damage momentarily

the entire rift is full of shit I could life steal and people are worried about the off chance that I sweep a ward right before a fight

The fact that they can lifesteal off of lifeless wards gives that little hp that may be a game changer in ur next fight.

just like the fact they can lifesteal off of a minon, jungle creep, champ, dragon, baron, scuttles that gives that little hp that may be a game changer in their next fight

im not so intimidated by the impact of this ward "bug"

if it's a bug, riot can go ahead and have it fixed it's just so insignificant to me that I wouldnt mind either way

i honestly dont give 2 shits if they can or cant... theyre either gonna life steal from a jungle camp, scuttles, or a nearby minion all of which doesnt require a sweeper

Because when we actually take the time to go get vision of a ward so we can hit it, the game factors in the amount of lifesteal the game overall has on you. Judging on how much of a life you have, that is how much lifesteal the game gives you for a ward.

Then how did OP find out about it?

So that next time when you survive ignite with 1 hp you can say, "Thanks Thresh, your wards saved me".

Because the damage reduction to wards happen after all other calculations.
