@Riot What are your thoughts on Akali's current state?

She's now the third worst midlaner even after her buff this patch and it looks like she is going to stay that way unless some big changes are made. Her new kit has completely removed her easy to balance kill window so now she either one shots you in less than half a second or she's useless. Before she didn't need to one shot you to do her job well because her kill window made her a fairly reliable Assassin while, at the same time, not being too overbearing to play against. This makes her current kit much less healthy than her old kit and she'll never be good unless she can reliable 100-0 someone instantly with no chance to react.

It's also almost universally agreed that her new shroud is inferior to her old shroud and has made her much clunkier to use. Not being able to place it where you want it has turned it into a generic mobility spell rather than a very cool and unique outplay and juking spell which is the opposite of what Akali mains wanted when you said you would make her shroud cooler. Not to mention the abundance of bugs that allows a lot of ability to reveal her in her shroud when they shouldn't be.

So are there any changes planned for Akali or is she gonna be stuck like this until her far off VGU?
