Ap itemization is shitty (still no ap/armor item (not everyone wants zhonias))

Crit damage needs to be cut down

Melee champions need to be globaly compensated for how shitty they have been (maybe a crit nerf would do just that

All classes needs anti shielding items/mechanics since shields are so powerful

Certain tanks are not tanky enough and other tanks are too tanky (ornn)

On contrast certain tanks do too much damage and some don't deal enough

Nunu has needed a rework since season 3

Ezreal has been breaking items and keystrones since forever and his q is going to have to be changed eventually. Currently ezreal is the only manamune champion in the game and this is not right.

Quite similarly azir (maybe Diana) is the only champion to use nashor tooth.

Isn't that the job of the people who get paid to balance the game? Besides, it's a lot of work to think about fixing something when your thoughts may well be in vain and fall on deaf ears.

yeah, it is their job and you are correct about that, but I would like to hear what you as a part of this community think would be a valid solution. And if you think this would fall on deaf ears, then you have very little idea how many rioters read through these posts every single day, sure they cant reply to each and every one with something meaningful because again these are 100s of posts like these here everyday but trust me when i say rioters do read these. If you dont believe me, if you answer my above question i will personally pass this onto a rioter to read for themselves, although i cant guarantee they would give you a reply, i can guarantee they will read it

well, that's where i'm gonna have to say you're gonna need to do your own research man. They have their reasons, they've discussed this many many times before, but if the fizz community cared enough, they would go and find and argue riots reasoning rather than repeating the arguments that the rioters have already refuted. I'm sorry i am not much help here but if you really do stand by your point, i know you'll find what your looking for :)

I would argue but they dont, because there isnt a single argument except "well people like playing against him more now" which probably isnt even true lel. A rioter even said they fucked up, and if he told that to his team too they just dont care hehe xd

Rioters have said they fucked up many times (coughcoughcoughvlad) but in the end you have to understand that their human too, and that internal testing and PBE aren't very accurate reflections. Aside from what i told you above, there are many other reasons why you cant simply revert a champion and maybe i can discuss a case of where a champion was actually reverted and what happened after that and why they did this, i mean i am totally fine discussing this with you if youre actually interested in why its like this :)

I cant say whether the fizz rework was totally good or totally bad, but as an ADC player it really feels like its more of a skill matchup whenever i have to fight against him, i can outplay bad fizz players and good fizz players can outplay me, it no longer feels like fizz has very little counterplay anymore IMO. but enough about my worthless opinion on the matter. The main reason that they cant rework fizz is that they cant simply revert his entire kit to the older kit without doing alot of testing on how it would work into the current state of the game, you would need the original team who worked on the fizz rework to come and do this, but as it is fizz isn't enough of a problem while at the same time the people on the team who worked on him are busy with their own projects, there is much much more to this than what i just said but with that i could go up and write an entire 1000 word forum post on just that. Anyhow coming from a player who plays a role that gets heavily countered and pitted against assassins alot, it really sucks that there is very little counterplay to certain kits regardless of skill, and i truly believe that assassins are hands down the hardest role to learn. i dont believe that assassins can just misplay everything and get away with nuking me, but i do believe if an assassin player is on par with me or better that they more than deserve to kill me as an ADC player. all in all though, If there is something you dont understand or want me to elaborate on, please let me know :)

Well if you want to do this big "assassin update", you should commit to it and not half ass it, then say you fucked up, then leave it as it is for over a year.. or not?

Rn it feels like the adc player has too much agency over who wins a 1v1 with Fizz. Sure if you get hit by an ult and you have 0 mr you probably die, but theres so much you couldve done to prevent that, its like.. Before the rework you could still flash his ult or his E, but it was a lot more reliable which is how it should be when you already got caught in a 1v1 fight. Its not like he just pressed a button and point and click oneshot you from stealth.

you haven't seen a fizz hiding in a bush before, have you. (Dw i meant this as a joke dont take it seriously)

This is the exact reason they said they will never do a class update again, you mentioned the big issue with this entire thing right there and voila. But you see here, they wouldn't have ever known this until they tried it, right? so can you really blame them (yeah i know you can but do you kinda see my point?) they didn't have any way of knowing that this would be an entire failure until it hit live. and contrary to popular belief, internal play testing and PBE testing wont catch these issue. So that leaves the question of why the fuck riot even bothers with those things(internal/PBE) , and that is a bit of a lengthy discussion but im more than glad to discuss that with you if you actually care to know :)

Yeah they will never do it again which is good, but they should go back and fix it before continuing to work on like Irelia or Swain. Its like if some dude killed everyone in a village, then he realized that it was bad and he shouldnt do it again. But then instead of fixing it with dat Gedo rinne tensei no jutsu, he just leaves them, ya know? lul

but as it stands, this isnt something you can fix in a patch or two, because like you said yourself, they dont wanna fuck this up again. alot of people dont actually know this but when they go to fix a champion's kit (like not a numbers change, i mean like an actual kit change) they put as much resources and time into fixing that champion as they do into making an entirely new champion, and even though they know that they make absolutely 0 profit on actually fixing a champion, they still go out of their way to do these changes. Sure, people might see riot as a money hungry company, but in reality maybe around 80% of the people there genuinely care about the game as hard as it is to believe.

I mean what would be cool is at least them telling me that they will work on him 2018 or something. So far all Ive heard is "we fucked up", "but a lot of people seem to like playing against new assassins" or stuff like that.
If you can ask them on a discord ez, you could ask them for us hehe

I mean right now the room is closed and there is no guarantee that i could get someone who actually knows about this to talk to, what i can tell you right now is that they are more busy with leblanc and rengo (actually idk if they gave up on him yet or nah) because they are already happy with how fizz is performing in general, even with all the complaints against his kit. anyways i hope this helps :)

I'm not interested, nor am I the original poster. A "rioter" may be a desk secretary monitoring the forums for all I know. Do these "rioters" have any say in the balancing of the champions? Because I'm highly skeptical. And since you don't have a Riot symbol by your name, you're just another random person.

I do not have a riot symbol, so yes, i can just be making up shit and you have all the rights to call me out as a liar, and thats understandable. So instead I'm going to tell you how you can get in touch with a rioter yourself. Each riot board has its own discord server ran by actual riot members, joining these discord servers is a bit of work but once your in you have an entire riot community to talk to. the discord server I'm part of has a specific room where i can directly talk to a rioter on request and i can freely discuss anything i want with them. and now its true that this could simply be anybody working at riot that im talking to, but with the few people i have talked to they were either part of the balance team or made sure to pass on my work to someone on the team. i know you have absolutely no reason to believe me, so i encourage you to try it out for yourself. i hope this helps :)

Can we get an actual Rioter in here to check this guy since he is technically speaking on behalf of Riot? Does his words, in fact, reflect that of Riot and these "Rioters"?

I should state that I do not mean to speak on the behalf of riot, I was simply showing you that anybody could really talk to riot if they go out of their way to do so. regardless of that, now that you know how to talk to a rioter yourself, you can go and find one to check this out for ya ;P

You are giving information as to why or why not something can happen in-game and are claiming that this why it is this way. The fact is, you are not an authority on this but you're coming across as if you have some insight on Riot's decision making.

It's one thing to have a conversation about champion balancing as a player. It's another thing to basically say, "Look, I know Rioters. I know what they do. I know their jobs. Let me take this into my hands and explain this to you." Because really, that's exactly what you're doing. I don't care if you've given me some kind of special gift to speak with Rioters myself. I already told you I'm not interested. Because I personally think you're full of shit. But other people may believe you. And that's where the problem lies.

I would love to throw suggestions out there but we all know riot will listen and then do the opposite. Ap itemization needs riots help.

Crit damage just needs to be nerfed by 10-20% maybe? In turn this would help melee as well minus tryndamere and Yasuo. Melee champions could get a higher base ad If they are struggling.

As far as tanks perhaps the only real tank killer is am adc nerf which would make tanks tankier. Ornn needs a damage nerf as well as mao.

Then we change manamune to make it better for all champion and not just ezreal while nerfing ezreal to compensate. We could do the same for nashor tooth and azir. That is not the complicated.

Overall a crit nerf would change the game dramatically.

I disagree with the Nashor's tooth and Manamune argument. Having items that suit specific playstyles is good and promotes diversity, in my opinion.

Shields? Well.. they can be negated by... simply good timing. Wait out the shield as I can ASSURE YOU it will either be gone when you re-engage or significantly weaker (you can only Locket so often).

I will say the AP/Armor item thing is true. But they only really need one more item to be on parity with AD's MR items against AP. I suppose my question would be what sort of effect would you want put on it?
