Caretaker's Shrine Active- On Ally: Bard flows celestial energy through the target allied champion, healing them for 30/60/90/120/150 (+20% AP) health and granting them 50% movement for 1 second. Active- On Ground: Bard creates a shrine at the target location that becomes active after 16/14.5/13/11.5/10 seconds. Every 5/4.75/4.5/4.25/4 seconds, allied champions near the shrine are healed for 20 (+8 per level) (+15% AP) health and granted 20% movement speed for 1 second. Whenever Bard collects a chime, all shrines made will begin to pulse twice as fast for the next 5 seconds. A max of 3 shrines can be active at once. The shrine can be destroyed by 1/1/2/2/2 ranged basic attacks or 1/1/1/1/2 melee basic attacks and last for a max of 90/105/120/135/150 seconds. Subsequent heals from a different shrine within the next 5 seconds is reduced by 80%. Cost: 90/95/100/105/110 mana Cool Down: 16/15.5/15/14.5/14 sec. Range: 500 Shrine Heal AoE Radius: 550 Shrines must be placed again to update their Level.

The main problem with Bard in himself is he doesn't reward his allies for roaming early since his chimes hardly help allies directly and shrines hardly heal enough to make a difference when dropped off in another lane. With the new pulse mechanic and Bard can now effectively heal allies over time with his shrines. The shrine, instead of an ok burst heal, offers a large amount healing over time for Bard's allies over time. Bard can also still offer his allies a quick little heal and a move speed boost with the shrines as well. Thoughts?

Bard already has infinite sustain

Costs mana, isn't infinite

Don't fix what isn't broken. Bard is fine the way he is, he doesn't need to be changed.

Bard is fine gameplay-wise the way he is (I know this, trust me), but he, in my opinion, fails to be what he could and should have been, being a Roaming Support. Some argue he does roam, but only if you consider going into the nearby river to get chimes roaming. You may visit Middle Lane to drop off a W there like once every couple GAMES, but no real roaming going on.

remove the missing health, that'd be too frustrating for people to deal with.

not a terrible idea otherwise

i'm still of the opinion that W should function as 'terrain' for his Q to hook to for stuns, but that's just me

Done and agreed.

Im not against that idea for W, especially with this change, but I fear it might either be too good or too bad to use as well as make his W used for reasons besides healing.

I do not like this idea. Early on in the game he puts a shrine down in every lane just behind the turret. Unless you are against somebody with extraordinary long range (like Azir) You aren't losing that shrine. Nobody could lose their lane, really.

Yeah, except for the fact that you are waiting, at Rank 1, 10 seconds for 50 (+30% AP) health.

By the way, I added a duration to them so he has to actively update them and such and also made it scale per level instead of being ranked up.
