Top lane needs to be fixed this season.

Top laners have almost zero agency when it comes to impacting the game. Even if the lane goes well, they just can't match a slightly fed adc because of how bruiser items are way more expensive than adc items. Oh, and if you are in a bad matchup, your carrying potential goes down the drain because you can't even get good farm to get items. In fact, many bruisers like jax/nasus are going klepto to make up for their ridiculous item costs.

I don't think Jax is taking Klepto, but Nasus/Illaoi/GP definitely are. In any case, the problem remains. ADC's reach powerspikes way sooner than they should as a lategame scaling class based on multipliers (as,crit, lifesteal,%arpen) and it doesn't really make sense. Bruisers reach their powerspikes pretty late, while their 6-item power isn't even that good.

Nasus and Jax have very different problems, which is okay because they are from different champion classes. Jax could use some itemization help, where as Nasus just needs a different top lane meta.

This is part of why Riot tried to phase out words like "bruiser", because people end up using it when talking about groups of champions, and bruiser is just too wide of a word. Juggernauts, Skirmishers, and Divers all have very different needs, and while a meta shift or large change can make them all weak or strong together you go about balancing them in their own ways.

I agree with Redniwedis. Nasus is more of a meta issue. Although if played correctly, still has a great impact with how important it is to get towers down early. Had a game a while back where a Nasus had around 600 stacks around 20 minute mark. Pretty ridiculous.
