ViashinoWizard2 votesDarius scales very well. It sounds like your team let the game go on enough that he and his team were able to farm up the items they needed to get a good teamfight. As for getting a pentakill, it's Darius. That's how he do.
Anyway Darius has two slows because he has no gapcloser and needs to be in melee range for a sustained period of time to be effective.
Miku Lv992 votesDarius can be kited and it's hard for him to get into position to do something like that. Riot seems to care more about who wins the positioning battle than who was ahead, so you got caught really badly so you lose.

Xantak1 votesIf the game goes on long enough, any gold lead you have, means nothing. At a certain point in time, people will have their items, and nothing but elixirs to spend their gold on, unless they sell and buy different items to swap out. If you let the game drag on, rather than playing for objectives(turrets, inhibitors, nexus) because you want to pad your stats/kill score, then eventually, it'll bite you on the ass, and you'll get what's coming to you. Because then, the grey screen waiting rooms become massive. Saw a recent LPL game, where RNG was getting their shit shoved in, but they hung on until the magical team fight, and NaMei got a pentakill to win the game.
