Any chance we can lower the requirements? In a match i had 27 wards placed and 1 ctrl ward placed in a 26-minute game, got a 42 vision score. I dont understand this at all.
Narsicus3 votesI think it bases the score not just off number of wards placed, but also if they observe enemies, stay alive for long periods of time, or reveal other wards (in the case of vision wards).
So spamming wards might not end up with the best vision score if the wards aren't being 'useful' as seen by the system. Or at least that is my understanding of it.

That's exactly it. Also, if you're spamming wards and removing wards that you have already placed, that's going to hurt your potential ward score. Make sure that you're not replacing wards that are early in the life unless you're advancing the ward-line. Also, make sure you get the upgraded sweeper and sweep often - that'll enable you to place wards that the enemy doesn't know about, which will immensely help your vision score (not to mention your team!).

I didnt even know it existed till a couple days ago. The match i am referring to is the one where i found it out, i obviously couldnt care about something i didnt know. Just thought it was fishy i got such a low score.

Well when you say for the 10th time, I don't think of cordial requests for wards. Now I'm gonna lose sleep, I hope you're happy.

. We both had 17 wards placed and 2 control wards purchased but I had 4 wards destroyed and he only had 1 destroyed. Guess who got the higher vision score?......... Not me! I had 40 to his 43. That was on a 28 minute match.
My best score is 68, with 27 wards placed, 6 wards destroyed and 4 control wards purchased in a 39 minute high bronze match. So it's definitely possible even if you're not pro, you just need to get more out of the wards you are placing.
