Cleanse doesn't work with supression since supression blocks summoner spells.

The issue with mikaels removing supression is with one relatively cheap item (which works instantly now), one of the major strengths of malz/ww (and a few others but who even plays urgot) is entirely negated, at least at higher tiers of play where they can be relied on. Currently people can counter it with QSS so it's not a no counterplay situation, but if one person builds a QSS, the rest of the team is still a potential target.

I do miss mikaels heal, although I am very greatful it's instant now. I rarely built it for the stun removal because between the cast time and my reflexes (especially back then), the damage was already mostly done.

The majority of cc has a travel time so the damage would already mostly be done unless you predicted it, and then if you predicted wrong then your cc is down for when the supression actually comes out.

WW is only cc immune during his ult leap, not while actually suppressing someone.

Malz is the trickier one because of his passive. If it's down you might be able to negate him with stray cc, but again, the damage would probably already mostly be done.

The instant cast mikaels wouldn't have that issue.

I've always thought that item should remove suppressions. As long as it's not attractive to carry champions, idk why supports shouldn't be able to build a mini-qss, especially if it wasn't able to be used on oneself.

It would put Malz on a 5% winrate. Clicking R and hoping your allies kill the target is the only thing going on for him. He is a useless champ that only succeeds by making another champ on the enemy team useless as well. That is also the reason why he is succeeding now as a support because you are trading the least valuable role in terms of gold income and your worst champ on the team for any role of your opponent.
