which makes litterally no sense what so ever because galio was reworked into a battle mage mid laner and now is just a aftershock support bot who just procs the keystone when he engages then builds cheap support items to stay relevant in the game...
Really awesome rework ruined by balance decision that seems to enjoy to gut galio into unplayable status and leave him like that

BackdoorPrincess1 votesHe had a niche roll hard countering ap while being able to stack mr with a major counter-engage ult, who would also heal off of damage being done to himself or someone else, while buffing their armor and mr, and giving a speed boost in a direction. Yeah, if you knew how to play old Galio or what comps to play him into he was great, and having that aoe 2-3 second taunt that was channeled so tenacity didn't affect it was great against all the dive comps back then. They took the damage reduction off of his ult, meaning the only real way you affected teammates anymore was your aoe taunt+knockup combo, they took his anti-mage identity and twisted it, and then after the nerfs he doesn't even resemble the "guardian" that he is supposed to be
boricCentaur13 votesFunny you blame the balance team for this when the reason he was nerf was because of battle mage galio and galio was not a battle mage when the rework came out maybe you built him like that but the majority of people went tank galio until 7.21.
The correct thing to say is awesome rework ruined by people that want galio to be a mage for no reason.
Pyrosan3 votesGalio wasn't reworked into a battle mage midlaner, he was reworked out of a midlaner mage into a top lane tank but tanks became useless so then they shifted his kit into AP lol
