Galio is weak to AD damage yet goes in bot lane as a support and tanks ADCs just cuz of a keystone... yeah makes sense..

The Shen thing was so weird. Nobody used him for like two years after the rework and then all of the sudden he became this unbalanceable monster that had to be nerfed into the ground despite getting no real buffs or anything.

Well, this is pretty understanble since top lane was historically mostly Bruisers Vs Tanks and Shen always kinda occupied a spot between them : having some great engage/mobility along with base and scaling damage boosting his anti-tank damage making him kind of a bruiser, while having some pretty hard CC with damage negation to make him a tank. Since pre-Season 8 was just tanks obliterating every single bruisers because they didn't have a keystone (yet), Shen became a meta pick since he, well, countered tanks while doing what they do and doing what a bruiser do. Now he pretty much is one of the worst champs and thats not even because of said reasons above, since he was nerfed into the ground simply because he was picked like 3 or 4 times in 2 months of LCS as a support and Riot really didn't like that for some reason

I remember they did the same thing to Sejuani.

She was OP because of the tank items and runes, then they gutted her while other tanks kept doing their thing. Then they nerfed the items and runes and left Sejuani in a garbage state.

I 100% agree galio really needs some help, they should just make him an anti-mage like kass that's early-midgame focused but falls off late due to his ult being a supportive spell. Or rework his ult and make him a true antimage

They might as well accept that galio needs to go the route of mundo: an AP counterpick that gains a lot from building MR both in tank and damage.

Generalist galio is an abject failure.

Don’t think it helps trying to balance him between being a tank and building AP. Didn’t their balance troubles with him start shortly after shifting more power into his AP ratios, especially on W, way back when?

Like most things, if Riot kept their "balance" team from messing with a perfectly fine thing, it would not be ruined. I love Galio but they literally cannot stand anyone who is not a flashy, hyper-mobile, dance-off machine.

Galio's ult is something else. For something that cracks the very earth's crust in like a 1000 yard diameter, it does no damage....? I know it's a video game but seriously?

Nunu and Amumu have WAY more toxic ults by that measure based on what they do in game vs what they physically do lol. They also have full on stuns and can build AP and shit rek a whole team, but no... Galio can't have that.
