What is wrong with this Mundo build?

My team seen my build and began to basically pelt me to death with rocks until I muted them. The enemy team had only TF to worry about for magic resist, and therefore I did not build MR because I was not worried about TF. In team fights I got ww to ult me, Leona and Draven but the problem was that I kept dieing in teamfights for my team. Am I not suppose to make sure that the enemy team has no cooldowns!? Turns out I did more damage than my Udyr with Sated devour and mostly offensive damage items.

Warwick does majority Magic damage, same with leona. Aside from that, your team were probably just jerks cause it doesn't seem that bad to me.

Not really majority but he does do a mix. Assuming he builds BotRK he still does a lot of physical.

This is core on DrMundo for obvious reasons and most champions deal some kind of magical damage anyways. The rest of the build looks ok but this should've been a priority.

The only thing I can fault it for is a lack of CDR. Spirit Visage is basically core on Mundo and Agony already gives plenty of Tenacity.

You would have served your team better if you pulled out of the fight a little early to let yourself heal up before diving back in. Mundo is pretty amazing at that, generally speaking.

Mundo gets free AD and tenacity so item 3031 and item 3087 are his core items. summoner 31

build is fine if ap is not a problem, i dislike warmogs but cant hate on its effectiveness.

Warwick has a lot of magic damage too, especially if you have a lot of health. Also, Spirit Visage is a really good item on Mundo.

But above all, your teammates were yelling at you because they're assholes.

Get item 3748 then watch everyone be quiet as you one shot that enemy squishy. Soooo goodles on mundo

Well, Leona's passive procs alot of magic damage so that might have been why.

Spirit's Visage is core on Mundo too I think, but if you were losing teamfights badly I think your issue might have been your team's positioning as opposed to you lacking any MR.

you should usually rush a spirits visage item 3065 the healing effects it gives is awesome for your passive and ult. You should rush this item after getting sunfire and boots too deal with the apc's damage because mundo loves this item so much and it makes him a unstoppable force come late game

Wouldn't item 3083 with its passive to exactly (if not better) the same trick for only 50g more?

Oh its definitely a good item to get on mundo buts its better to rush your spirits visage first since it negates a lot of damage from ap threats. I usually go warmogs after spirit visage since they both go well with mundo. Its just better to rush SV since it helps vs champions that deal magic damage and having some early cdr is especially nice on mundos ult.
