UNIQUE Passive: If your Partner is nearby, heal for 12% of the damage your Partner deals to champions and redirect 12% of the damage your partner takes from champions to you as true damage (healing and damage redirection are reduced by 50% if you are ranged).

I liked this at first, but I am kind of doubting the True damage now. It means that if your adc likes to eat lead, you will be receiving more damage for the 12% part than he is and if he isn't attacking back, you're just going to be killed quicker than you would normally be. This item makes supporting a lot more difficult and I think it might cause problems in lower elo.

In low Elo it'll prob be trash tier as, speaking from personal experience, a lot of my ADCs are potatoes when it comes to dodging.

That's precisely why I stopped playing support. Or adc. If your support is bad you cant' get kills, and as a support if your adc is bad you can't help carry as a support. In both scenarios, it's always your fault. Gotta love bronze.

Halved for ranged... Would this be good or bad on Thresh ?

I'm usually the ADC, my friend is the thresh. I wanna try to be able to help him as much as he helps me.

This item is a godsend do not fear the damage you take. This item is not meant to be a first buy. It is best as a 2nd or 3rd item because it will be stronger later in the game.

If your ADC likes to eat led he is toast anyway and the 12% damage reduction will do nothing.

and in that case you should disjoint the passive from him and peel for some other more useful team member.

as a front line tank this item gives you sustain that is dependent on another player's damage stats. that is potentially a crap load of sustain.

consider, what happens if you link this to a jax or even a Brand or a velkoz and then dive? scary shit incoming.

I'm pretty sure it counts the ADC's armor and MR calculated into it before it transfers the damage to you. You just don't get any benefit from your own defensive stats (because it is transferred to you as true damage).

Playing braum with talon, the damage YOU take as the tank is very small but the healing you get is massive. In a 40 minute game i think i took maybe 500 damage vs a caitlyn/morg bot lane and got healed for four times that.

Honestly it would be interesting to see a if you could do a symbiotic thing with two tanks, two knights vows, two bonds of stone, and two ninja tabis.
