Please realize that the "look at your kda" insult is not always valid

A lot of the times a players score doesn't represent what they provided in a game. A 1/5 yi (while is considered feeding) still can be considered to have done well if you look at how many dragons/turrets they took for your team. A 2/7 adc doesn't always represent their skill level, but how bad your team's frontline and peel are.

I wanted to contribute to these "Please realize" threads :3

Edit: I should also mention that if you have someone on your team that is 1/7 or something and have no excuse than ya, the insult is valid. It's just that some people are blind to other player's situations and should step back and look if what you are saying is actually valid or not.

2/7 is bad doesnt matter how you look at it.... so is 1/5 ...

you can take objectives but to die aimlessly is bad....like idk say yi got 3 towers.. and died for no reason...

now he's off the map for free for 30-40 seconds where they can baron or take your more important towers....

and 2/7 isnt a lack of peel that's just bad positioning in general... it's not like you're 2/4 or 2/3 or 0/0 or something you're 2/7... that's bad.

Let's say yi was originally 1/2. That's not too bad, but if he dies 3 times for 2 towers, an inhib, and a drag, I would say it's worth it. And even if it's not, what he provided certainly helps his case to the point of raging at a 1/5 yi is stupid simply because he was useful.

Some would argue that a zed mid, vi jungle, and a nocturn top would make it incredibly hard for an adc to do well. There isn't much "positioning" to be done in those cases, you are getting dived by 3 point and click ults and if your team can't cover for you then you are gonna have a rough time.

What bothers me is when I have a bad game and I get told to "shut up" and that I "don't get to talk" because of my score, when all I'm saying is "We should get dragon" and "Can we group mid and push?" Why are people so quick to judge the worth of everything someone says and does based on their k/d/a?

The other thing which is just stupid is when this gets combined with me playing a support champ. Quoting my k/d at me "Lulu you're 0/4 shut up" is doubly stupid when I'm playing a role which shouldn't even be taking the kills in the first place.

I know right. Some people use their teammate's bad scores as a wall where they can be as stupid as they want using their scores as reasoning. It bothers me that they can't see the big picture

It can matter, a lot. Supp being a good supp. Tank being a good tank. Feeding ally not worth much gold split pushing, taking towers getting cs, diverting enemy to him/her as team capitalizes and pushes other lanes or gets drags makes it WORTH.

If u cant ward, farm, objectives, etc in that time ur making it not worth, and wasting a chance.

If ur feeder goes in, makes enemies use up abilities, baits, etc, it can be worth if u kill priorities or get objectives.

Just got to be smart, take initiative... but low elo being low elo things dont work like that. Only kda matters, which is sad =(
