For one, don't start a discussion and then edit the first comment on the thread, even if you don't agree with it. For another, I have a friend who plays Naut top often. He's pretty damn good to have in the team, he easily catches out enemy teammates who tried to escape, and he's pulled them back into the team to be consumed. His ult is godsent against assassins, seeing how it follows them, and knocks them up, forcing them to flash or die. His E is some nice damage during tight fights, and his W which also makes his autoattacks have some small AoE makes his survivability go up, as well as his damage. He can also focus on being a tank, while Sej would get some better results by taking some damage boosting items considering she's not quite as tanky.
As for Sej, while yes I agree she has the better AoE, it's because all of her kit is based around that. Except for her E. Which, if you don't have a lot of melee champs, isn't as easy to get off as you might think. Her Q, while good at engaging and knocking up a crowd, leaves her extremely open to a counter attack if she misses, or doesn't hit everyone. Sure the same thing happens to Naut, but if he hits a wall, he gets repositioned and his Q gets a reduced cooldown, and if he hits nothing, he's not left in a bad spot right next to the enemy team unlike Sej. Her W does damage to a crowd, and applies stacks, but prevents her from auto attacking, and leaves her open on all sides but the way she's swinging. Her E works amazing when you have a team that mostly consists of melee champions, but alone, or with only one other melee champ, it's not going to be proc'd as often as you'd want. Her ult is... okay, but seeing how it only slows the rest of the team, and only stuns the champ it hits, you've got to aim true, or else it's wasted.
All in all, Sej is better, IF you have a melee focused team, where you're only ranged is your adc and maybe, your mid. She's got alright CC, but she's not nearly as tanky, and if the rest of her team dies, or has to back out, she doesn't have much survivability to allow her to pull out, and her Q, while allowing her to move fast and go through walls, is easily stopped by one person who isn't going to be hurt much. Naut is better for most comps, even if he's top, support, or jungle. His abilities are more reliable in team fights, and he's a damn good tank. Add that to his slows, Knockup, Pull, and even his AoE, he'll work well even if the team doesn't have a lot of melee. If he gets caught out, he has huge amounts of survivability and CC that doesn't leave him open, so there is a chance he can survive long enough for help to arrive, or at least do a good bit of damage.
TL;DR Sej is alright, but if you don't have a team ready to work with her E(aka be melee), she's going to struggle at being reliable with her E, her Q is alright engage, but leaves her open and in a bad spot if she misses, her W leaves her open, and her Ult isn't as good as it use to be when it comes to teamfights/engages. Naut is better for most team comps, and he's reliable. Unlike Sej, most of his abilities don't leave him open to free auto attacks, and his ult will never fail a team. He's tanky, and can easily survive several skirmishes, while Sej's longer cooldowns, and massive openings mean that even if she builds tank, she'll take a lot more damage than she should.
