The health regen is weak. Despite, the potion refilling after killing a big monster, it's still weak. I've seen junglers buy either corruption or regular pots early.

All of the refillable potions are pretty much god awful compared to old flask but some laners unfortunately don't have any other choice but item 2033 because there are no mana pots. If a champion needs more sustain in the jungle than what item 1041 and item 1039 provide, they are probably not a good champion to jungle with just saying.

I find it to be a good supplement when I jungle with Diana. Especially around midgame if i get in a skirmish...pop all 5 charges and be healthy enough to contest an objective or farm some more. It's not 100% necessary in all my games, but I like it so far.

Maybe it's because I play champions that clear fairly well, but I haven't needed anything more than item 2031 to jungle properly. Also, both item 1041 and item 1039 give sustain and additional exp. gain, so... I don't feel the need to upgrade my item 2031 over rushing both.

A lot of champions that do well in jungle never needs to upgrade their potion or even buy a refillable potion. Just regular potions do the job early jungle. The junglers that do suffer, get way behind and upgrading the potion doesn't do them any good. They end up being even more behind with the gold they invested on potions that doesn't do the job.

This. I never buy Refillable Potion or any of its upgrades. Regular potions is all I get. With the removal of bonus gold from jungle monsters, Junglers just don't have the income to sink 500 gold into something that will delay getting combat stats online (more than the new jungle items already do) and will eventually be sold.

That's kinda the "why bother" scenario. If you get plenty of Sustain from Your items, why even go for hunters potion, or even the refillable potion for that matter? If I can get enough sustain from fighting camps, I should only need a few health pots just at the very beginning. Or would this be an exaduration?

I feel like its only useful for off meta junglers who need some help. Most junglers have some form of sustain/damage reduction in their kits so really it is good on a handful of junglers at most. If I grab a refillable potion as a jungler starting out, I usually don't upgrade it. I just use the re-charges in the jungle in the early game if I'm feeling the need for HP. You only get 2 per back, but its usually enough to keep you going unless you took a lot of damage in a gank or were invaded.

Hunter's Potion is objectively superior to Crystalline Flask which I bought anyway.

If it gets buffed, that would be glorious... but it does not need buffs.

It is a mana potion. That's why I get it. Every clear gives me an extra 35 mana. If my mana bar is low, I chug all 5 charges and have an extra 175 mana before I know it.

Ehh, feels worth it to me.

I won't get it on high-sustain junglers, but just being able to spam it is enough to let me not have to back.

It admittedly needs to give its health faster, though.

It's really fucking good on junglers like Skarner, Nautilus, ChoGath, Malphite, Rammus, etc etc.

IMO it feels like if you need hunters potion, you're probably a bad jungler. Most of the fringe junglers from before NEED it now, and since they're fringe junglers, they're already clearing slower. Setting yourself back 250 gold is just making yourself worse IMO and if you have to buy hunters potion, you're setting yourself up for failure.

I really like it on Sej. Keeps me topped off at all times and lets me recover after a gank or during a teamfight.

The tournament going on right now, no one has bought hunters potion. They know it's a waste of gold. The regen it provides sucks. Can we just buff it already?
