Cannon and Super Minions Should Show as 3 or 4 Minion Kills:

Since Cannon and Super Minions are worth way more than normal minions they should be shown as 3 or 4 minions when you kill them to show clarity of how much gold you and your opponent actually has.

If someone kills every small minions but misses every cannon minion, but the other person missing 33% of the small minions but gets every cannon minion. Which person has more gold? If you said the one that misses small minions but gets all of the cannon minions then you are correct! But the current minion/monster score says the one that hits all of their small minions has more gold, which is clearly inaccurate and the cannon minions should increase the minion/monster score based on how much they are worth.

This is just something that currently bothers me ever since they did the cannon minion buffs that now the minion/monster score is very inaccurate because of this. So to make things clear of who exactly is winning the MM Score battle, the cannon minions should properly showcase 3-4 minions for every cannon and super minion killed (they are both the same gold value). This way the player knows that every minion/monster the target killed that they are worth roughly 20 gold each more/less.

Agreed, they did this for jungle camps, they should do it for cannons as well.

Great suggestion!!! [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

Yes, that is why I said it. That and since there is such a massive difference between small minion and large minion gold, it is not quite fair to place it as only one minion kill and should be multiple minion kills to showcase where everyone's power levels are at in terms of gold earned.

why though

Honestly, I feel like at this point just show creepscore and gold count. You receive the same information about the enemy team as you do from CS and KDA, just in a different metric.

this would be very comparable to adding buff timers to the game. Imma go witha maybe on that one. it would change the game. mind you that not all kills are worth equal gold, and also there is a little differential between warriors and casters. Cannons 100% need to be worth more than 1 tho. its too misleading.

this seems so obvious but yeh.100% should be a thing no question asked in my diamond opinion.

Jungle camps have already been changed to accurately give cs that equals the gold. as far epics go you just gotta gauge it. Only rift and baron give gold so it shouldn't be that difficult to estimate.

what i kinda think they should do is kinda scrap the system they have now and standardize it across the board for everyone. what i mean by this is make it like every X gold (10, 15, 25, 50 or 100 you can use any number really) you get from minions/jungle creatures you get 1 cs score.

In my system say you do every 25 gold for 1 cs score then you kill a caster minion for 14 your score still shows as 0. You kill a second caster minion your score is 1 (gold earned is 28 total). You kill a cannon minion for 73 (gold earned is 101 total) your cs score goes to 4. This will make it so much easier when looking at the score board to know where a player stands.

Even if you need to adjust gold values of minions going forward in this system, it will still work for cs score.

At that point just show the gold earned.

cant show gold earned because you kinda have to guess with towers, kills, and assists if you know exactly how much gold you have then you can figure out where you are in terms of if you should fight an enemy champion or not based off that and the items to know if they have a lot of unspent gold

Automated Riven1 votes

You can tell just as easily if you should fight them based on the items they have. Honestly just showing how much gold everyone has earned is a far better path to go down.

i don't think so because then people are going to be like oh we are down 4k gold GG and then try to forfeit and give up more then they do now

As if people don't already spam the surrender vote when your down first blood.

Maple Nectar about this subject:

We talked about this when we were making the change, and while we weren't deadset against it, we felt that I patch in the midst of a season was probably the wrong spot to do it. It may be something we revisit and add in midseason or preseason, but for now we didn't want to mess with things like "what does good cs at 10 minutes look like", pro cs records and all that kind of stuff. I think that the clarity is good, but it's also not such a slam dunk that I felt compelled we needed to do it now.
