Ideas For Reworking Annie:

Annie

For starters, Annie already has a much too simple kit. She really only uses 3 abilities out of 4 because her Molten Shield is only used for charging her passive. I feel as though this is one of the biggest things that desperately needs changed about Annie. Her damage with three abilities is more than most other champions with all 4, and the only method of beating her the majority of the time is to out range her. While I wouldn't say Annie is an overloaded champion her kit is actually extremely boring and could use some reworking.

  • New Passive Idea -- "Tibber's Rage": -- Upon taking a set amount of damage Annie's bear Tibbers erupts at the location of the last champion or neutral monster to attack Annie knocking all surrounding enemies into the air for a brief period of time. (300 second cool down)

Annie

  • Q (Active) -- "Disintegrate" [Single Target Skill-shot]: -- Annie shoots a powerful fireball in a target direction dealing damage and knocking the target backwards if it is an enemy champion. If Disintegrate deals a killing blow it increases Annie's "Burning" passive damage, double the amount if against an enemy champion.

Annie

  • W (Active) -- "Incinerate" [No changes]: -- Annie releases a cone of fire in the target direction, dealing magic damage to all enemies in the area.

Annie

  • E (Passive) -- "Burning": -- Annie passively reflects a percent of damage taken back at enemy attackers as Magic Damage. This amount is increased by dealing killing blows with Disintegrate.

E (Active) -- "Surprise!":

Annie's next spell cast will stun any targets hit for a period of time.

Annie

  • R (Passive) -- "Loyal Tibbers": -- While Summoned "Tibber's Rage" cannot trigger. Tibbers applies double Annie's current "Burning" passive when struck by enemies or neutral targets. Tibbers is surrounded in flames and deals Magic Damage to all nearby enemies.

R (Active) -- "Summon Tibbers" [No changes]:

FIRST CAST: Annie summons Tibbers to the target location in a burst of flame, dealing magic damage to all enemies in the area. He then remains on the field as a controllable minion for up to 45 seconds.

SECOND CAST: While Tibbers is active, Summon: Tibbers can be used to move him to the target location.

Annie

These are some ideas for how I believe Annie could be reworked into a more unique and interesting champion.

So rather than have to build up her stun so you have a window of opportunity to nuke her down when it's not active, you're proposing you make her shield a passive that's always up, and her stun an ability she can use at will? And you're proposing you give her an aoe knockup, and a knockback as well?

Basically the cost is her Q no longer being a point and click ability. For Annie to stun you she will either require to land her skill shot, be close enough to cast her W, or be forced to ult in order to stun you. While her ult is casted her passive no longer works so she can't double CC you unless she is able to land her skill shot on you.

Also on a side note, I believe since Annie IS a Control Mage it would be a neat idea for her to have some ability to "adjust" her enemy slightly to set up her stun. For example the E -> W -> Q being able to shove the enemy away from you would give Annie some breathing room.

Also you are acting like you won't have a Window to nuke her down... if anything you have FAR FAR FAR FAR FAR MORE room to nuke her down since she won't be able to just stand there with her stun charged 24/7.. with this anytime you see her use her stun you will KNOW it's on cool down and that she won't be able to use it for a period of time. This makes Annie's play pattern more predictable than it currently is allowing for better counterplay.

BTW Silver V 48% win rate???? LOL ok

Alternatively you can just look at the indicator Riot added that shows that her stun is currently down and know you can all in her. Forced to ult to stun you? you act like flash tibbers to stun isn't basically her signature initiation.

If you want to bring irrelevant facts into this, yes, I'm currently silver 5 with very few games played, half of which are against players higher ranked than you.

How can I move my post? I think it's in the wrong board. :(

Dunno honestly......

Passive: Unfitting and will kill the poke play on to her

Q: Annie is a close quarter burst/control mage , Kock won't work on her

E: Like the idea of giving her stun a set time of action with a clear hint on when she can use it .... like: look the shield if off ... she can stun you for the next 3 sec

The problems with your idea are in the first two sentences.

For starters, Annie already has a much too simple kit.

This is good for the game. There are over 100 champions. Having complex kits is fine and good, but some of the champions should have simple kits as well. In being simple and straightforward, Annie actually manages to be one of the most unique champions. Not every champion needs to appeal to every player, but there should be at least one champion that appeals to every player. And to quote Riot, "having Champions with reliable abilities is also good for the game as long as they don't make less-reliable champions obsolete."

She really only uses 3 abilities out of 4 because her Molten Shield is only used for charging her passive.

This has not been true since the buff. I actually had to consciously work to break this habit because the shield is good now as its own skill. 40% damage reduction is a lot. If I'm not going to 100-0, I'm going to save the shield for once the target starts fighting back, or if you pop it before someone bursts you, you'll live through it easily. And even early on, the shield helps you win trades. In some matchups I'll trade without having stun up or even close to up because of that shield.
