Why is annie allowed to one shot and instant aoe stun?
Either nerf the ratios or give a .5 second delay to annie ult. There is literally no counterplay to annie besides using some1 who can one shot her before they get oneshot

alternatively you could not feed her kills so she doesn't one-shot you
sounds like an l2p problem to me
Team mates still die all the time to roams even when you ping mia. Also late game there is literally no stopping because it is easy to farm on her so she will get items anyways.

So is it annie that's the problem or the fact your team doesn't know how to deal with her...?

Ehh, if she falls behind through an early jg gank (You realize she's squishy early and has no mobility outside flash right?) She can be zoned out. Her AA range is no longer insanely large and her spell ranges are fairly short compared to most mids too. Top lane Annie tho...
575 is still best range for mid laner. she can farm under turret super easy with her q
obligatory "my team sucks" comment
how about you actually follow her when she roams rather than crying about annie being OP
late game everyone's damage is absurd, so what really matters late game is mobility, AOE and range.
Guess why Annie is considered to fall off late game while Xerath/Lux/Ziggs are considered good late game?
Her total AP ratios are also lower than alot of other mages and only has 3 damaging spells.
Annies ult has decent range and even if it fails its on a 50 sec cd, too safe in my opinion
you should not be feeding her. There's a reason nobody picks her in LCS - if she fails to snowball, then she'll never become a threat. You only remember the games where an Annie snowballed. You don't remember the games where she gets instantly deleted before she even walks into range or where she's so underfed that a bruiser like Jax just facetanks her stuff, spams laugh then presses Q/W/E and deletes her.

She's picked as a support.
sorry should've said picked as mid.

NP, roaming support annie is terrifying.
lcs is differnt from solo q
Yes, the CD is stupidly short.
Tibbers lives for 45s, so with 20% CDR (easy to get) he's back 15s later.
Basically, by the time you get back to lane after being one-shot or escaping with a sliver of health, Tibbers is off CD. That's just plain broken.
.8, .85, and .8 ratios are not that low. She also has high base damage as well. She also can become decently tanky and that's a problem too.
"Ermahgerd, Rito hasn't nerfed Annie for uncounterable play!"
If they just gave her current kit counter-play, her viability would plummet. She has lower damage than most mages, only compensated by having guaranteed stuns. Her range is shorter than most as well, which is what forced her into support bot instead of going solo mid.
In order to remove her low counter-play, they need to increase her viability. She needs to be better than she is right now.
Are you kidding me? She has one of THE HIGHEST damage of all mages. She has .8 ratios across the board, along with a high base damage to go along with them. And she does see play in mid lane, She counters Leblanc (you try and jump in and if she gets her stun off, you lose the trade and possibly die.)
Are you kidding me? She has one of THE HIGHEST damage of all mages
bzzzt WRONG.
Annie has acceptable base damage and scaling, but she only has 3 offensive spells, putting her in the middle of the grid when it comes to pure damage output.
Annie's total burst is 975 +285% AP, assuming a stun at level 18. That's not weak by any means, but it's not "one of the highest" damage rotations, either.
The top 5 burst rotations are Syndra, Brand, Xerath, Malzahar and Leblanc, with some honorable mentions for Ziggs if someone runs over half of his mine field, and Katarina if she gets her entire ultimate channel.
Brand, assuming he gets only one hit from Pyroclasm, deals 1119 +240% AP +10% max HP (due to delays, it's impossible to have all of his spells land in less than 1 second, so a minimum of 10% HP burn). If Pyroclasm hits the same target three times, it jumps to 1819 +340% AP +12% max HP (again, delays, nearly impossible to avoid taking 2 seconds to finish hitting them).
Malzahar deals 1170 +290% AP, plus 24% (+3% per 100 AP) max HP to a target. While it's mostly single-target, it's still a significant damage difference.
Syndra, assuming she only casts Q once, 1475 +250% AP. A difference of a 35% AP ratio makes the break-even point at ~1400 AP, meaning Annie will never catch up to Syndra, forgoing the fact that she can cast Q twice in a rotation very easily.
Xerath, landing 1 of his R shots, deals 1010 +253% AP. If he can land a second shot, 1310 +296% AP. All three, as unbelievable as it is to pull it off, 1610 +339% AP.
If I was bored enough, I would compare her with all mages to find out exactly where she ranks in terms of burst damage, but I'm content with naming 7 and proving 5 as stronger than Annie.
the difference is annies dmg has no counterplay and is instant
Which is why she's going to need compensation for when Riot increases counter-play against Annie.
I just find it amusing that people don't have enough patience or understanding to recognize that Riot can't instantly fix everything at the same time. Not only would that be a ton of work for everyone involved, but the amount of change in such a patch would pretty much force players to go through an entirely new iteration of League itself for a few weeks.
All of the champions they've updated aren't even considered (by the community) in good standing as they are. Riot has to take into account fixing minor things with them while figuring out how to work on other, higher-priority champions.
The only other fix they could give before a minor rework to Annie would be nerfing her like Shaco, which the community has collectively considered a massive dick move.
She is actually one of the lower burst mages. She is like Talon - her burst isn't that high, but its compressed in time to below 1 second.
Her 5 second damage is actually very low indeed. The highets 5 second damage champs are
and the like who can melt entire teams.
ITT: people post solutions to OP's issue and OP is iron-headed about it and just wants to argue about how OP he thinks annie is
Only if she gets an extra 500 range on all of her spells.
lol, I haven't seen even a fed annie in the current season deleting people. Her real strengths are her sustained damage output and crowd control on high burst spells, otherwise, she is a high priority target with no escapes, not even her 3000 hp tank tibbers can force the enemy off of her
