She's been able to slip under the rader forever it seems because despite how strong she is, there are always 2 or 3 supports even more overpowered than her.

As Thresh, you’re kinda just forced to afk the lane phase when you need to be aggressive and snowball. And you can’t engage on Morgana, but she can poke you. Also often times, ironically enough, if she hits her bind on you it’s a death sentence - whereas as you hitting your hook doesn’t mean shit.
Maybe after the Thresh buffs on Q cd the matchup is better - but she’s still my permaban.

the saddest part about this is that they dont even realize actually softcounter 
because even if she does spellsheild his hook.. his hook still count as "landing" and goes on a shorter cooldown. so her spell-shield wont be up in time for the next cast.
not to mention morg spellshield can be hard to land in time if u have higher ping.. and thresh's hood projetile is very fast... and sure we can see the windup animation... but if you you and your adc in in a postion to get hit... u need to shield the right one so u need to look were the hook is going first.

Alistar is a skill matchup, but you win early and have potential for outplay late.
Thresh DOES NOT soft counter Morgana. I also thought that he did when I was lower elo (because the Morganas were bad enough). Yes you can hook - auto - flay for CC. But Thresh is very squishy as opposed to someone like Leona. Often times if you take that hook it’s only going to kill you - especially since you’re guaranteed to eat a bind and not guaranteed to proc aftershock. The only way it works is IF your adc is MUCH stronger early (like Lucian v Vayne). In this case the Morgana can put another point in spellshield to make Thresh completely useless (and unable to proc aftershock = die on engage while they kite back - or forced to put points in E to remove spellsheild longer hook CD ). Otherwise she can put points in her catch/poke abilities and make lane hell for you.
The lane isn’t as bad as it is for someone like Blitz (makes him super useless) - but she has way more kill pressure on Thresh than on a Blitz, Leona, or Alistar.
Also plz don’t respond. I’ve read your gameplay related posts before. You never have any clue what your talking about/how this game works. Just take some time to reflect.

Not overpowered or strong. I'd say she's exactly where she should be power wise. If the meta adapts away from chain CC tanks (and Pyke), her ban rate will go down (her ban rate during Ardent meta and long before was around 5%).

MissMikasa3 votesI think she's in a good spot actually, but also I think that what could be inflating her ban rate more than just her "strength" is that people ban her because of a counter pick- she counters some big time supports like Blitz, Thresh, and "Pyke," who can be argued on if he's an actual "support" but whatever. People ban her when they want to play those champs and have an easier lane matchup.
Frosted Tips2 votesMy biggest problem with Morgana excluding her being boring to play is that her spell shield is instant. That is just too strong. If it had a delay then I think it would be fine. Just a small delay like a travel time from her the her ally. If on herself it doesn't need a delay. Also I think her Q should have a shorter root duration, but a higher projectile speed.

She's not game breaking at a solid 50% win rate. In fact, she has many more lane counters than what she herself beats. It's just that people find her Black Shield annoying. That's really all it is.
