What people don't realize about the Xin Zhao changes on PBE
Xin Zhao's "terrifying" build at the moment involves
and
. And most of the complaining for the changes have been directed at the critical strike damage with his W passive.
Now, with Sated Devourer and Xin's W passive, the Sated proc is what will cause the third hit, not his actual attack. What this means, is that since Sated procs all non-basic attack oriented on-hit effects, the critical strike portion WILL NOT occur with Sated devourer. This means that only the other builds of Xin Zhao will utilize this bonus damage, which will mostly help his other builds offer more damage with less sustain than his Devourer build.
As for the heal bonus, this will only be useful for Melee duels and long drawn out fights. This is because Xin is known to be really weak to CC, where is he is locked down for a short amount of time, he can be burst down easily. But if he is against another champion with little CC or range, he will more than likely win due to his stronger sustain on AD builds.
The only "worry" of these buffs are if it would allow Xin to farm the jungle for an extremely long time during his first clear.
Video of the changes. Note: watch when he attacks multiple times in a row, there will be periods of 5-6 attacks in a row with no critical strike. Either it is buggy, or it is not critically striking with the Sated proc. As for other critical strikes seen, remember, this person built critical strike chance, for some of the times where a critical strike happens multiple times in a row. (Go to about 4 minutes to see once he has Sated devourer)
