This MMR difference is a complete joke

Congratulations RIOT, you did it yet again, after about 6 months in this season I thought I had finally found some balance and mastered my jungle with evelynn, but after the last couple of patches things got totally screwed up once again.

It's not just the meta change this time, I think it's the MMR changes RIOT is applying to matchmaking just to even out the winrates for DQ.

Let me give you an example. I am gold 3, and I get into a match with a platinum 4 Darius toplane versus a silver 3 Malzahar and on midlane there is a plat 5 Vladimir versus my gold 5 Veigar. How is this even remotely honest? Riot says things should even out because well my top lane should win but meanwhile my midlane fed vladimir 11/0. GG.

And this is not just 1 game, this has been happening all over the place. Fix this elo difference, because this is getting stupid. This is not balance.

wouldn't it be your teams fault for dying that many times? i can understand once or twice but if your losing lane just be passive in lane and survive until late game. It shouldn't be that hard. not to mention if a lane is losing lane shouldn't the jungler be doing something to assist the lane that is losing or just needs a bit of help?

My point has nothing to do with lanes and situations, but with the MMR gaps. I can't que up for ranked with someone that is bronze when I am gold and a plat cannot duo with a silver, so why should a silver en up playing vs a plat if he plays duo with a gold 3 player or something.

Because a gold player is allowed to queue up with silver friend at the same time as a plat friend if he creates the lobby.

Average distance in MMR between lowest and highest ranked player on a team more than tripled this season.

Normals MMR has nothing to do with your ranked status, I have seen level 26s matched against Plats, is it technically unfair? Yes, but it's your normals MMR the more you win the higher it gets.

They're struggling for players. Need to keep the queue times low some how :3

the diffrence in mmr is intended as low plat players doing bad in their last couple of games get to fight lower ranked players and if nthey lose those get big lp chunked and gold players get to challenge players slightly higher than them to prove they deserve to rise. that an those ranks dont have enough people constantly playing ranked to make exclusive only gold 3 games

mmr is the most r%%%%%ed. i play mainly adc and even if i have a bad supp i roam and i eventually get feed and 90 % i have positive kill death ratio and the most damage in the team if not from both teams. but because i have really bad team i loose. and guess what. i am matched again with monkeys in iron, when i am silver. i don't understand the thinking behind this. i think is a communist thinking, trying to level everyone, they don't take into consideration stats like kill to death ratio, damage, objectives. their thinking is very simple... like their minds. you loose, you are bad, go play with monkeys. fy riot
